If the deck is just an attempt for people to play it so Smmenen can thrash it with Combo then why did he and along with Team Meandeck and Randy Bueler play it at Richmond?
The deck is good and is more resislient than people give it credit to. I mean, this deck can replay so many Cabal Therapies so fast and doesn't even need to play spells to win.
It beats on Stax and other Aggro and has the tools to deal with Control. Combo is obviously a hard matchup but not unwinnable with 4 Chalice, tons of Cabal Therapies and a very fast win condition.

I see that the manabase is five color and I suspect Null Rod obviously comes in against Combo, instead of Null Rod how do you feel about Pyrostatic Pillar since you can play it? They both costs 2, and Pilllar is much more difficult to remove than Rod(Rebuild, Hurkyl's Recall) and it has great synergy with your deck since you won't play very many spells, just dredging and beating while Pillar is wearing them down, shaving off the turns you need to kill them.

One thing I see as a problem is the increase in the amount of Extracts being played.
Oath has 4 in sideboard and many other decks have been using them as well and obviously they work very well when you just have one win condition.
As for Windfall, yes it is horible in this build.
Cut it for either.....
+1 Duress
+1 Chain of Vapor
+1 Burning Wish

With wish you could fetch another Tendrils or Balance for a mean Mind Twist. But basically it serves as a backup.
I'll have to test the deck and I've been playtesting with Grim Long for a long time now and gotten to really get used to it. I have better game vs Stax since I run more artifact bounce and.

Karakas is better than Maze of Ith in almost every way and also taps for mana. But it isn't as good when you go against Darksteel Colossus.

I have a Masknought deck but like many people said there is just so much hate for it now. Especially with Pithing Needle Out.
Chalice, Null Rod, Swords, Needle, Seal of Cleansing and so much more hurt the deck.
I played some Lightning Greaves and it seemed to work better but I wish it could be a little more competitive simply because of the fact I have 4 Alpha Masks and the deck is fun to play. I tinkered around with so many different lists but it's very hard to overcome the hate no matter what.
I was thinking about selling them to get some Bazaars possibly.
What exactly did your list look like? I don't have premiumon SCG.

I have another question and many judges I asked had quite a bit of different responses.

Say I activate hermit Druid at my opponent's end step and I have 1 Darksteel Colossus and it gets shuffled into library.
On my upkeep I return all the creatures to play.

here's the question, can I dredge a Darkblast or any dredge that is greater than 1? Some said I can because I will look at my next 3 with it only being Colossus and he will get shuffled back in.
Others said you have to have at 3(for Darkblast since its dredge is 3) card in your library to dredge.

There is a list that has a Darksteel Colossus in it and I imagine it works the same way as I mentioned.

Can anyone give me some help please! Thanks Very Happy

Suppose I'm playing a Dredge deck with Ichorids, Ashen Ghouls and etc. The turn after I play Hermit Druid, can I use his ability to put cards in my graveyard at the beginning of my upkeep putting all Ichorids and Ghouls into my graveyard and then put all the creatures into play the same turn after I dump them into the graveyard?
