There was exactly one American.  What are you talking about?

this is just like the time when the US got to host the world championship, the best players from all over the world were there...

If the dragonplayer has a compulsion in play, he will win, not even trying to make it a draw. if he has a wish on the hand, he will probably just try to win the game as well, via wish --> stroke. Because if you do not stop him right away he can be pretty sure about you not being able to do anything about his wish either.

So, if he has any of the tools he will win, otherwise you choose if the game will end up in a draw or if the game shall go on with a 1/1 flier on the dragonplayers side of the table.
4  Eternal Formats / Miscellaneous / what's up with the scriveners in most dragonlists? on: April 06, 2004, 02:07:38 pm
well, I know what it does, but I don't understand why it deserves a spot in the dragonlist

I used to play dragon before trinisphere got printed and I have never used scrivener myself or even seen anyone use scrivener on the net...
Until most recently, now I can't find a dragonlist without it. So my question is: why is it in there?

I'd be very pleased if an experienced dragonplayer could care to comment
