i am also a player from baltimore and would def be interested in some sort of testing and or tourney..... maybe we could get some kind of monthly tourney going for just a cash prize.... like mark said... for about a month or so we have had decent sessions every monday at legends in towson so im sure we could get a halfway decent turnout for somekind of monthly thing........ and i was at the legacy tourney at dream wizards this past weekend and there a few people saying the played vintage so maybe we could get a few of them involved.....

I would definitely include tolarian academy. Its just so good and it can make getting the mana for a mind's desire so much easier. I would probably cut one of the underground sea's as i cant see that making a difference in fetching the colors you need.

I put Zach's list together and was thinking about playing it for the B-more tourney but I had some trouble with r/g beats(which I thought was gonna be popular but turns out there were 0). I ended up not playing it but was wondering what your whole s/b plan was and how you feel the matchup is. This was of course with dryad and not tarmogoyf. I just felt as though I didn't have answers and a lethal tendrills was out of reach.

I am new to vintage and this was my first vintage tournament but i have to say i am in love with the format. I ended up going 2-3 with a ritual tezz list i put together the night before with little to no testing. i lost round one to a close painter's match up and just drew the nuts rounds 2 and 3 against what i believe was a stax aggro deck and tps and then lost round 4 to mike noble playing mono red workshop. and yea my name is brad. I pretty much threw away round 5 but i didn't have a chance making top 8 anyway. With that said mad props to darryn for a great tourney and i hope we can get a bigger turnout for the next one. I think I'm gonna plan a trip up to the tmd 13 and actually test a little bit and not have to play with the distraction of having my wisdom teeth ripped out the day before!
