i go to the midwest and beat up on a bunch of scrubs and i get 6 points.  almost more points than BHWC combined.  and of course, no west coast tourneys are involved. we're not good enough.

I would say that there are more than "some" players out here, and even anywhere else in the country. There are none scheduled west of chicago, or south of virginia. That's 3/4 of the country not represented.

We had 112 people at Magic Worlds in San Franciso. Granted some were from Europe, but the rest didn't drive across the country to play type 1 for a lotus and ancestral.  They came from the area. If you bring the event and the prizes, the players will come.

We'll just have to organize our own events. Why go to the east coast and play against sub-par opponents, when we have challengers here. And besides, the east coasters are too afraid to come out here, too many thugs and donkeys.

i run x2 sculpting steel in my deck. you can copy any of your current threats, and if they play masticore, su-chi, etc. you can copy that. i beat a guy with a copy of his own juggernaut that i welded out after i copied it. tech.

and eater of days hasn't worked for me. it is often a dead card in hand.
