3) You are not right.. Latest card is 5th edition, I play with a beta and don't own a 5th edition but I looked up the 5th edition and it said: At the end of your upkeep, if Mana Vault is tapped, it deals 1 damage to you.

The errata says: Text (5th+errata): ~this~ doesn't untap during your untap step. ; At the beginning of your upkeep, you may pay . If you do, untap ~this~. ; At the beginning of your draw step, if ~this~ is tapped, it deals 1 damage to you. ; : Add to your mana pool. [Oracle 2003/07/01]

I played a budget version with maindeck Phid, the rest was the same as yours, last sunday in Castricum T1.
Ended 3th! And that without lotus/walk/ruby/emerald.
I also had 3 Mana Leaks sb, and that turned out to be great!

The deck really draws crazy!!

I'm playing a deck thats allmost the same as the list posted by Smnenen, I'm handeling the deck pretty good so far.
There are no proxy tournaments here in the Netherlands so I play the deck without Black Lotus/Twister/Time walk. And its really godlike for me. I think that with 5 proxy's you can really kick some ***!

Just wondering maybe because I dont have the lotus but why is that Beacon of Destruction in the deck?  :shock:

Hello!

I've been playing Nether Void for sometime now and I spotted the card Trinisphere. My question is should I drop the Nether Voids and use Trinispheres or not? I don't know wich is better since I haven't played with the sphere yet..

3 colourless for the CC seems better as 3B... But the Trinisphere doesn't add up to spells that cost more as 3..
Futher I don't know if Trinisphere + black vise = a good idea..

My deck is Mono Black for the information.

I would like to hear some opinions about it!
