1  Vintage Community Discussion / General Community Discussion / Re: Vintage Super League: Who Would You Like to See? on: March 16, 2016, 07:55:35 pm
I think you misunderstood me, Matt. The mentor matchup is abysmal unless you over dedicate to beat mentor. But even when I dedicate to beat mentor it's still a coin flip almost. And then I am weak to othere things. Mentor pushed me away from landstill for a while to be honest. I understand the matchup intimately and it's not very good lol. So I agree withat mentor being in the advantage...now if a few metagame decks went away and landstill could focus more on just beating mentor, then it can probably happen. But right now the metagame spreads landstill too thin IMO
2  Vintage Community Discussion / General Community Discussion / Re: Vintage Super League: Who Would You Like to See? on: March 16, 2016, 02:39:02 pm
I'll chime in here. The mentor vs landstill match is a coin flip often having mentor in the advantage. If landstill over prepares to beat mentor, it won't be well rounded vs the rest of the feild...and people wonder why I've set landstill down for the time being...

To be fair, I played 2 card monte because I won a 32 man event on it the day before. It just so happens main deck leylines are good vs dredge Razz
6  Eternal Formats / Global Vintage Tournament Reports and Results / 1st Place. "2 Card Monte" Report on: February 23, 2016, 10:36:58 am
So on 2/20, Deal Me In Games in Boyertown PA was holding their very first vintage event at the store. The TO was a long time faithful vintage player and card dealer, Jason Koresco. He used to help run the early Blue Bell Games events over ten years ago when the Northeast vintage scene just started. I was happy to see 32 players come to battle today and I showed up with an old throwback deck called "2 Card Monte" and won the whole event! Now this is just after winning an event a few weeks back on Dredge. So below is a list and a rough idea on how my day went. Again bug thanks to Jason at Deal Me In Games for hosting a kickass event!!

"2 Card Monte"

4 Leyline of the Void
4 Helm of Obedience
3 Grindstone
4 Painter Servant
4 Goblin Welder
1 Demonic Tutor
1 Vampiric Tutor
1 Demonic Consultation
1 Tinker
1 Memory Jar
1 Wheel of Fortune
1 Ancestral Recall
2 Mental Misstep
1 Ancient Grudge
1 Pyrpblast

4 Serum Powder
1 Black Lotus
1 Mox Opal
1 Mox Sapphire
1 Mox Ruby
1 Mox Pearl
1 Mox Emerald
1 Mox Jet
1 Sol Ring
1 Mana Crypt
4 Mishras Workshop
4 Ancient Tomb
2 Gemstone Mine
2 City of Brass
4 Mana Confluence
1 Tolarian Academy

SIDEBOARD
4 Leyline of Sanctity
1 Trinisphere
3 Nature's Claim
1 Ancient Grudge
1 Balance
1 Sphinx of the Steel Wind
1 Batterskull
1 Red Elemental Blast
2 Defense Grid

Round 1 -(2-0 win) Keith Seals on Ravager Shops
Game 1 - I often see Keith playing a multitude of different decks much like myself so I am not sure how to play out game 1. In game 1 I powder away a hand containing LOTV and Ancient Grudge knowing if hes on dredge thets probably a keep. And if he's on shops I will be locked off Ancient Grudge with 1 sphere. So I powder it away. My new hand has Ancestral Recall, Goblin Welder, Painter, Mental Misstep and 3 mana sources. I am on the play and sadly Keith ends up Mulliganing to 4. I cast Ancestrall Recall, and a couple fast mana turn 1. I then Mental Misstep his turn 1 Sol Ring followed up by Goblin Welder and Grindstone. It end quickly.

Sideboarding: -1 LOTV -2 Mental Misstep -Wheel of Fortune -2 Serum Powder +Batterskull + Sphinx of the Steel Wind +Balance +3 Nature's Claim +Ancient Grudge

Game 2 - WE Both Keep 7. My hand has a lot of mana, some shops hate, and a Painter's Servant. Keith is stranded on Tomb/Factoy for a long time with Ravager and Thorn in play, I do some things and he scoops as he is stuck light on mana...

Round 2 -(2-1 win) Nate Davidoff on Dredge
Game 1 - I Powder and Mulligan into a hand that has LOTV. I use Helm of Obedience and kill him a few turns after.

Sideboarding: -2 Mental Misstep -Ancient Grudge -1 Goblin Welder +3 Nature's Claim +1 Red Elemental Blast

Game 2 - I Mulligan to 4 with LOTV, Goblin Welder, Vampiric Tutor, Demonic Tutor. I scry a non land to bottom and draw Mana Confluence on my turn. He casts Serenity, I am forced to Vampiric Tutor for Nature's Claim to stay alive for the time being. I put up a fight but lose shortly thereafter...
Game 3 - I have a turn 1 win with Mishra's Workshop, Mox Jet, Black Lotus, Demonic Consultation, Painter's Servant, Ancient Tomb, Memory Jar. I miscount like an idiot and kill him turn 2.

Round 3 -(2-0 win) Jeremy Beaver on UWG Gush Aggro
Game 1 - Jeremy has 2 Force of Wills for my Tinker and Helm of Obedience, stopping me from winning. He has lethal on the board, Meddling Mage on Helm of Obedience, and I am at 2 life, holding Wheel of Fortune. I cast Wheel, My wheel hand contains Helm of Obedience, Mental Misstep, Pyroblast, 4 mana sources. I cast Pyroblast on the Meddling Mage (going to 1 life). He responds with Gush, then responds with Brainstorm. I hardcast Mental Misstep. The Pyroblast resolves, I cast Helm of Obedience and win at 1 life

Sideboarding: -4 Serum Poder -2 Goblin Welder -1 Vampiric Tutor +Trinisphere +Batterskull +Sphinx of the Steel Wind +2 Defense Grid +Red Elemental Blast +Balance (I kept Ancient Grudge in, in case of Null Rod. He in fact had Stony Silence But never got it)

Game 2 - I have Turn 1 Trinisphere which meets Force of will. A few turns later I exhaust his hand some more. He casts Managorger Hydra going to 1 card in hand. I cast Tinker into Sphinx of the Steel Wind and ride it into the sunset.

Round 4 - ID

Round 5 - Play for t8 seating (1-2 loss) Joe Brennan on UWr Mentor
Game 1 - I play through 2 Force of Wills and win on Turn 2 or 3 with Leyline Helm

Sideboarding: -4 Serum Powder -1 Ancient Grudge -2 Goblin Welder -Vampiric Tutor +Trinisphere +2 Defense Grid +1 Batterskull +1 Sphinx of the Steel Wind +1 Balance +1 Red Elemental Blast +1 Nature's Claim

Game 2 - I had a turn 1 win lined up until he plays Pithing Needle on Helm of Obedience. I switch gears and play Batterskull going up to 30+ life. End up drawing bricks for too many turns and he comes back to steal victory.
Game 3 - Again I have a turn 2 win with Red Elemental Blast back up. He has his 1 of Pithing Needle yet again to stall me out. We have another long back and forth game and he gets there later in the game.

Top 8 - (2-1 win) Paul Mastriano on UWb Key Vault Mentor
Game 1 - My hand has an opening LOTV, 2 Helm of Obedience, with mana to cast on turn 1, and then again on turn 2. I also had Tinker in hand. I cast Helm, it meets Force of Will. Next turn I cast Helm again, it meets Force of Will. I draw a 3rd Helm, Which meets his 3rd Force of Will. Then I cast Tinker for my 4th Helm of Obedience and Kill him while staring down lethal on board...

Sideboarding: -4 Serum Powder -Ancient Grudge +1 Trinisphere +1 Balance +2 Defense Grid +Red Elemental Blast

Game 2 - Paul is on a Mulligan to 6. It involves a really fast Monastery Mentor off Black Lotus, and a Mystic Remora. My initial flurry gets stopped by Force of Will. He top decks Ancestral Recall and finishes me quickly with Mentor and friends.
Game 3 - My opener has LOTV, Helm of Obedience, Red Elemental Blast, Grindstone, Mox Ruby, Mishras Workshop, and Ancient Tomb. I lead with LOTV, Ancient Tomb, Mox Ruby, tap Tomb for Grindstone, it resolves. Paul has turn 1 Thoughtseize, taking my Turn 2 Kill sadly. Now I am at the mercy of my top deck. Paul casts Monastery Mento and Mystic Remora, I draw Black Lotus, and Mox Pearl the next 2 turns. Finally, my next draw is Painter's Servant. I play the Pearl, so I would have enough mana to cast Painter, use Red Elemental Blast, and have 3 mana to activate. I play Painter's Servant and Paul scoops showing me 2 Flusterstorms and a Mental Misstep!

Top 4 - (2-0 win) Ryan Glackin on Ravager Shops
Game 1 - I mulligan to 6 and Glackin to 4. My hand is an odd keep but a keep nevertheless. I literally have Ancient Grudge and 5 mana sources. I scry my card to the bottom. I draw Ancestral Recall. Glackin doesn't have much pressure at all. I play my lands accordingly around Glackins 2 Wastelands. I resolve Goblin Welder and Memory Jar soon after. I Proceed to mill his deck via Grindstone.

Sideboarding: -1 LOTV -2 Serum Powder -2 Mental Misstep -1 Wheel of Fortune +Batterskull +Sphinx of the Steel Wind +Balance +Ancient Grudge +3 Nature's Claim

Game 2 - Glackin plays turn 1 Phyrexian Revoker on Black Lotus. My turn 1, I play Mana Confluence into Ancestral Recall, into Mana Crypt, Sol Ring, Mox Opal, Goblin Welder, Painter's Servant. I am able kill a Lodestone Golem, Weld another one out for Revoker back in, naming Goblin Welder. I then proceed to Nature's Claim Witchbane Orb, cast Grindstone, and kill him.

Finals - (2-1 win) Matt Murray on Brian Kelly Salvager Oath
Game 1 - I think I have him dead on Board with Painter Grindstone until He plays Dack Fayden and kills me on the spot. If I had more mana I would have waited another turn. If he gave me another turn he was dead...such is life

Sideboarding: -1 Serum Powder -2 Goblin Welder -1 Painter's Servant -1 Wheel of Fortune -1 Ancient Grudge +4 Leyline of Sanctity +Trinisphere +2 Defense Grid

Game 2 - Odd Game here. I have an initial flurry to try to win turn 2. This gets stopped by Nature's Claim on my LOTV. I cast Painter's Servant in hopes to set up Grindstone which gets stopped, and Matt resolves Oath. I cast Helm of Obedience and activate milling 5 hoping to get a big creature off it. I don't. Matt activated Oath of Druids and finds Sphinx of the Steel Wind. I activate Helm again with no luck. Lets hope the 3rd time is the charm. Matt Repeals my Helm of Obedience, accidentally passes the turn missing combat. I play a 2nd Workshop and cast Helm of Obedience. I top Tolarian and my other mana to activate it again, the last card flipped was Void Winnower, I win shortly thereafter with Matts big dude.
Game 3 - I have a turn 0 Leyline of Sanctity. A few turns later Matt has dack Fayden and I reolve 2 Grindstones and a Painter. Matt can't steal a Grindstone and use it to kill me, as my Leyline of Sanctity was protecting me from my own Grindstones. Matt doesnt muster up a way to answer both Grindstones and conceeds.

Props: Jason and Deal Me In Games, my super awesome and friendly opponents, good friends, tight play, and a fun deck. Oh yeah and $300 Smile
Slops: A few play errors on the day, and sideboarding to 61 cards sometimes :-p

In Conclusion: This deck is very hard to play, mulliganing is very difficult, but it is in fact a ton of fun to play!!!

Enjoy!

Well, I'm sorry to the viewers who were watching my match tonight. Totally punted game 2. I had the chance to cast balance turn 1 putting my opponent to 2 cards in hand. But instead I played out Time Vault instead like a Jackass. The excitement of Time Vault and being at a computer screen totally trumped the correct play in Balance at that point. I am disgusted and disturbed I didn't make the correct play. I saw it right after I made the incorrect play. Ugh well safe to say I won't make that mistake again...SMH  Sad

I've put these two enchantments side by side before but never really developed the deck.  There are so many things between the two strategies that compliment each other.  They're sort of like opposite strategies in a way so any time one doesn't work you can assuredly rely on the other.  An opponent without a threat is ideal for Standstill whereas you can't play standstill when they have a creature; conversely, Oath of Druids is pretty dead to an opponent with no threat but trumps any threat they may have already played.  They're like strategic puzzle pieces.
Winning with man lands while there was an oath in play must have felt great Very Happy

Thanks man, ando Yeah it worked out great. Oath was able to close the window vs doomsday quickly too. They have no creatures but you can get the "oh hey here's Orchard and Oath" hands. Which make combo storm off, and if they can't, you just win.

And yeah in the t4 when I won with man lands with oath in play, the guy was thoroughly impressed with my deck haha. Griselbrand did his job by drawing 7 cards and then I was over there like "nice karakas" haha Razz
17  Eternal Formats / Global Vintage Tournament Reports and Results / Re: Finals Split at TPG on LANDSTILL OATH 12/5/15 on: December 07, 2015, 11:09:20 am
Nice work, Josh. That's a really cool list. Smile

I'd thought of an idea similar to this last year but never sleeved it up. Standstill in conjunction with Forbidden Orchard ultimately seemed like a rough concept to me. How was it? Were there any moments when this worked against you? Did the Orchard tokens ever provide a tough land-battle for your man-lands? What made you choose a Toxic Deluge for the maindeck over something like Engineered Explosives? I'd love to hear more about it. Smile

The orchard vs my own man land thing wasn't a problem all day. With 5 man lands of my own I can generally trump opposing 1/1s if it comes up. I had a game in testing where I was forced to cast Standstill with no man lands in play while they had 1 orchard. I drew a man land 12 turns later and stabilized shortly after to control the game and win.

I chose Deluge over EE because I wanted the ability to clear the entire board of mentor and tokens or pyromancer and delver at a relatively cheap cost. EE and Deed are much slower. Especially when I have the line of Demonic for Deluge and cast to wipe the board. The Explosives and Deed are Sideboard to diversify my sweepers Wink

Thanks everyone!

I absolutely never split events. This was the first time I ever have. I was a heavy favorite and Beaver asked me what it would take to split. And I said an offer I couldn't refuse. He needed to buy some cards that valued $130 total so he was fine with the split as we both had to commute home as well. Skill involved in negotiating the split? Not really lol. I justill don't ever split but with that offer why wouldn't I?
19  Eternal Formats / Global Vintage Tournament Reports and Results / Re: Finals Split at TPG on LANDSTILL OATH 12/5/15 on: December 06, 2015, 10:12:24 pm

Game 2 - Dave has 2 quick Grafdiggers Cage. My hand had Dig Through Time, Mana Drain, Flusterstorm, Oath, and a few other cards on like turn 4. I end up casting Oath of Druids and Drain Dave's Force of Will to get 5 mana the following turn. So I activate oath of Druids to get Griselbrand to the top of my deck and draw him for the turn.

Can you explain this one a little bit more?  How did activating oath get griselbrand on top of  your deck?

The oath reveals and mills cards from the top of a player's library until a creature card is revealed. The creature is then put into play from the top of the library. Cage stops the creature from entering play from the library, so it instead stays as the top card in the library.

Exactly what he said!

POTUCEK LANDSTILL OATH doyyyyyy
21  Eternal Formats / Global Vintage Tournament Reports and Results / Finals Split at TPG on LANDSTILL OATH 12/5/15 on: December 06, 2015, 12:04:55 am
So as most of you people know I am historically known for having a love for man lands and Standstills, but recently I had to
step back and set them down. I did this because I couldn't seem to brew a list that felt well positioned across the metagame.
I could build URx Landstill to beat the mentor and Tempo decks, but then I get inherently worse vs other decks. No matter how
I spun the list I always had a huge glaring weakness in the armor. Which I do not like. I like my Landstill lists to be very
diverse and able to handle many and all decks/situations thus why I put it down for a while until now. In comes the idea of
BUG Landstill. I had a strange idea about 5 years ago (on my teams forums at the time) to blend a Landstill shell with Oath
of Druids. So about 2 weeks ago I again started putting thought into it. This list is the result of 2 weeks of heavy testing
online which I piloted to the finals of todays event at TPG in Bloomsburg PA. There was only 16 players but it was full of
ringers from the NE. So I annouce the first ever results put up by my very own home brew of Landstill Oath Smile enjoy!

"POTUCEK LANDSTILL OATH"

4 Oath of Druids
2 Griselbrand
1 Gaea's Blessing
2 Jace the Mind Sculptor
4 Standstill

1 Demonic Tutor
1 Ancestral Recall
1 Brainstorm
1 Senseis Divining Top
1 Time Walk
1 Dig Through Time

1 Toxic Deluge
4 Abrupt Decay

4 Force of Will
3 Mana Drain
3 Mental Misstep
2 Flusterstorm

1 Black Lotus
1 Mox Sapphire
1 Mox Jet
1 Mox Emerald
1 Strip Mine
1 Library of Alexandria
1 Treetop Village
1 Creeping Tar Pit
3 Mishras Factory
4 Forbidden Orchard
1 Polluted Delta
4 Misty Rainforest
1 Forest
3 Underground Sea
1 Tropical Island

SIDEBOARD
1 Wasteland
1 Mindbreak Trap
4 Leyline of the Void
2 Nihil Spellbomb
1 Bojuka Bog
1 Pernicious Deed
4 Nature's Claim
1 Engineered Explosives

Round 1 (2-0 win) vs Jeremy Beaver on Managorger Gush Aggro
Game 1 - So Beaver starts this game off with a few quick werebears and I raise him an Oath of Druids which brings out Griselbrand              shortly thereafter which brings closure quickly!

Sideboard: -1 Standstill -1 Jace the Mind Sculptor +1 Pernicious Deed +1 Engineered Explosives

Game 2 - This game is a little longer and I remember resolving Pernicious Deed Killing Containment Priest and a few Moxen. This Clears the way for my Oath of Druids I cast on my turn! I pass the turn to Jeremy and he casts Managorger Hydra and a Bunch of spells over his turn and mine resulting in a 8/8 Hydra. I draw a bunch of cards to fight off multiple Swords to Plowshares. I am forced to block the Hydra and letting Griselbrand die. The following turn I Oath into my next Griselbrand and end up answering his Hydra with Abrupt Decay.

Round 2 (2-1 win) vs Brandon Dempsey on Doomsday Gush Combo
Game 1 - I keep a hand with Treetop Village as my only mana source but I am on the draw and my hand contains Mental Misstep, Force of will, Oath of Druids, Brainstorm, Standstill, Flusterstorm. I keep it knowing my deck can draw mana. I draw the best mana in Forbidden Orchard, and end up casting Oath on turn 2 with Force of Will and Flusterstorm back up. Brandon can't kill me fast enough so I ride Griselbrand to a win!

Sideboard: -1 Griselbrand -1 Toxic Deluge +1 Mindbreak Trap +1 Nihil Spellbomb

Game 2 - I mulligan into a keepable hand, but Brandon has Thoughtseize and a fairly fast win this game.
Game 3 - I have a very controlling hand this game. I remember cracking 2 early Standstill. Soon after comes a Jace and I just control most aspects of this game and win with man lands

Round 3 (2-0 win) vs Dave Reitnauer on Pyromancer Delver Tempo ~ this was an unfortunate pairing as he's my best friend
Game 1 - Dave has turn 1 Black Lotus which meets my Force of Will. He Forces back to resolve Lotus and proceed with 2 Delver of Secrets and a Ponder to try to find a land. Dave hits the land and passes turn. I have a decent hand with Abrupt Decay, Mana Drain, and Standstill. My hand is clearly weak vs the old double Delver opener. I draw Oath in a turn or 2 and get Griselbrand into play. Dave has the Path to Exile in hand. I am able to draw 7 cards, but I don't hit a counter for the Path. He attacks me to 6 life. On my turn (with a full grip) I cast Demonic Tutor for Toxic Deluge and kill 2 Delver of Secrets, Young Pyromancer, and a few tokens. Over the next few turns I keep controlling the game and win with man lands!

Sideboard: -1 Jace the Mind Sculptor -1 Standstill +1 Engineered Explosives +1 Pernicious Deed

I proceed to hardcast Griselbrand utilizing the Drain mana! Dave conceeds.

Round 4 (Intentional Draw) I am the #1 seat going throughout the top 8!

Top 8 (2-1 win) vs Brandon Dempsey on Doomsday Gush Combo
Game 1 - I keep an iffy hand of Force of Will, Mental Misstep, Flusterstorm, Oath of Druids, and 3 mana sources. Well I don't draw any gas or an Orchard and lose fairly handily this game...

Sideboard: -1 Griselbrand -1 Toxic Deluge +1 Mindbreak Trap +1 Nihil Spellbomb

Game 2 - This was a very quirky, odd, interesting game. Dempsey resolves Necropotence after killing my active oath with Nature's Claim. I have a Mishra's Factory on the board to have some pressence. Keep in mind I am at 22 life right now. Dempsey passes the turn and I land a 2nd Oath of Druids, which will be active the following turn if I get one. On Brandons turn he tanks for quite a while and decided to cast a recovery Yawgmoth's Will. Yawgmoths Will allows Brandon to Natures Claim my Oath again, and use Imperial Seal and a few other cards but cant quite win. Brandon passes the turn, and I play Senseis Divining Top and pass back. Brandon casts Doomsday on his turn and reaches the deepest darkest hours of the think tank, as he forgets his Yawg Will removed his Black Lotus and Lotus Petal from the game making it much harder for him. I am hiding an Abrupt Decay on top of my deck with the Senseis Top. I win this game off the Abrupt Decay.
Game 3 - This goes a couple turns before I am able to assemble Orchard and Oath with a Flusterstorm and Force of Will as protection. Brandon has the 1 key turn to capitalize and attempt to end the game but he can not. I oath Griselbrand and ride him into the sunset

Top 4 (2-0 win) vs Joe Brennen on UWR Mentor/Baby Jace Control
Game 1 - Joe has a turn 1 Baby Jace, which meets my turn 1 Oath of Druids. He is able to use his Black Lotus and a few spells to get Jace to flip into not a creature lol. I use abrupt decay to kill the Jace and follow that up with a standstill the following turn. I am on man land beat down plan until Joe pulls the trigger. A few turns pass when Joe finally cracks my Standstill. On my turn I get to activate Oath of Druids getting the big bag Grisel. I am able to cast Toxic Deluge and pay 4 life to his all the creatures for -4/-4 thinking this should kill all the Mentors and tokens. Joe responds with Swords to Plowshares on Griselbrand and I respong by drawing 7. I cast Mental Misstep, Joe casts Mental Misstep, I cast Flusterstorm, and Joe uses another Misstep to keep his mentors alive, while all the tokens die. This leaves Joe with no cards in hand. I get to my next turn and cast Decay on 1 Mentor, and Jace Bouncing the other to take over this game.

Sideboard: -1 Jace the Mind Sculptor -1 Griselbrand +1 Engineered Explosives +1 Pernicious Deed

Game 2 - I seem to forget the first few turns of this game. But I do remember casting Oath of Druids by turn 3 or 4. Joe plays Karakas. I activate Oath for Griselbrand. Joe attempts to bounce Grisel and I respond and draw 7 cards. at this point I accept the oath plan won't work here unless I am able to find my 1 of Strip Mine later in the game. Now when he played Karakas I was a little surprised as I had put the Wasteland in my SB for decks that I thought would run Karakas and shops decks. I didn't expect it from Joes Deck. After drawing 7 cards I am able to cast Standstill and control the game with Jace the Mind Sculptor and ride 2 Mishra's Factory and Creeping Tar Pit to victory.

FINALS vs Jeremy Beaver - Now going into this match, Jeremy and every other person in the room knows I absolutely do not take splits. I come to play and win. I am (what I feel like) severely favored in this matchup. I tell Beaver I want to play for first place as its $250 and second is $100. Beaver offers a 220/130 split and I take it afterall. Beaver is a great guy and an excellent vintage player.

I go home happy with my decks performance and had a great time with some great friends!

Props: Gush being eeverywhere and my deck liking that, Oath being a metagame trump, Joe having Karakas, Shawn Griffiths and TPG for holding a sweet event, and super awesome opponents.

Slops: Me playing Polluted Delta and not Verdant Cattacombs (WHOOPS!), making some play errors, and being hungry all day.

In the top 4, Dave scooped to Brian so we could leave, and Beaver scooped to John for the same reason. There was a prize split of the top 4 and people wanted to go home due to long commute times Wink of course the locals wanted to play haha. There's no reason to sit and play when a split was already decided...

Congrats to the t4 on their split Wink

Thanks for the podcast, Kevin and Stephen, and the clarifications on the successes of Dragon of Tarkir.  The predictions for the metagame and T8 breakdown sound reasonable.  There was an error on tcdecks itself regarding the 35 person event in July which listed the Top 8 in random order and misidentified the winner as Gush storm.  It was won by (Dragonlord) Oath.

I wonder if this year we may see a RW hatebear deck do very well.  The archetype has had a revival with many successes by Josh Potucek and is a top candidate for budget decks.  From experience, these decks can be an absolute nightmare to play against and have only gotten more obnoxious with new printings.
Aw hey, thanks for the name drop buddy Smile
