      Just wondering if you can put a curiosity on a Mishra's Factory/ Faerie Conclave. Will it stay on either land after my turn ends or does it pop off?

Yes, I know they are removed from the game I was just asking when I casted mind's desire and it resolved I drew 16 cards. Out of the 16 were 4 meditates. I cast all 4 meditates and put those 16 cards in my origional hand along with the stroke and impulse. Then I tried to cast Stroke of genius on someone to kill them during their next turn but the judge said I couldn't due to the fact of mind's desire resolving saying it doesnt matter what I pay into the stroke its still going to be X and since mind's desire says x is equal to zero he said my stroke would be for zero

       I have a question  that I am looking for the answer to. I Have 3 cards in my hand(stroke of Genius,impulse, and mind's desire). I cast Mind's Desire and it resolves along with its storm count of 16. Idraw 16 cards and begin to play them. Now since Mind's Desire reads "you may play with it though it were in your hand". I have then casted 4 Meditates and and gotten 16 new cards for which they should go to my origional hand if I'm correct. I then attempt to cast Stroke of Genius with the 17 cards in hand and the judge(the "LVL 2 judge") said I couldn't cast the stroke of genius b/c of Mind's Desire. I even told him the stroke was in my hand prior to Mind's Desire resolving. So my question is would the stroke hane went off from the cards from the meditates, or I couldn't have done it due to the fact of the Mind's Desire resolving.

yes Firebird its intentional because since my meta is mostly unpowered everyone plays with the basic lands although I could sideboard them for just one person lol b/c he plays with duals  :lol: or converts to mono black, so the wastelands are up in the air

I'm posting here looking for some advice on a mono green LD deck that I have been playing for about a month. Its basically Patrick Fransen's mono green LD. Which is listed here http://www.morphling.de/coverages/top8decks.php?id=79 Except my LD deck is attempting to play more of my meta than actual T1 meta. Although if I can tune it up maybe I'll take a ride down to Columbus sometime. Well here's my decklist:

My problems as seen from playing are lack of speed and drawing.


Cards I have wondered about putting in for speed.
1) Elvish Spirit Guide-this card can be used for green mana which is nice in the early game
2)Mox Ruby-The only other power at my disposal,still unsure about including it even though its free mana  :lol:
3)Mana Crypt-3 damage is rather bothering but its a great game mana boost
4)Mox Diamond-Gets rid of a land, but will die to my powder keg

On the drawing subject I have no idea for what to do so suggestions on that would be nice. As for my deck I would like as many suggestions as possible as I have 1 month b4 my next local tourney to tweak this deck. Hell they might be amazed I'm not playing sligh as it wins b/c my meta is mainly unpowered, but it gets boring playing the same deck for 2 years straight as my first choice of decks.

I was just wondering about something that had recently came up in an mtg local tourney(with a supposed lvl 2 judge). he was playing all dual lands and I was playing  mono green LD. Ok so here's the question He played a dual(badlands) and I tried to wasteland it. He said to me dual lands were basic lands, so then I couldn't wasteland them. I dont know if this is true so im asking for some help. Also if this ends in my favor could he have even used a land grant to fetch a tropical island?

I have decide to build a decent budget version after all my playtesting and the gathering of the cards. I am now stuck with the sideboard issue, which I know reflects on mainly my own meta, but that changes every month. Although I see control, a dragon(once in a great while), Discard (lots), without anymore delay here's what I have so far.

2- tormod's crypt
1- misdirection

As I started it needs some help
