This deck, even more than the original landstill decks truly needs Nev's Disk.

I tried Erayo, several months back in a Gro-Tog variant, and found it to be nothing short of amazing.  The little flying guy was nice to have, and he's extremely easy for this deck to flip.  A flipped Erayo is enormous card advantage.  But I found the Merchant Scroll to be absolutely key in flipping him.  If you're playing Erayo, get the scrolls in there.

I loved it.

I'd really look into biorhythm as a win.  It's a bit spendier, but I think, far more consistant.  Just a thought.

I've tried this multiple ways.  I really liked the idea of Rhystic Tutor.  Then I played it.  I totally sucked.  Trust me:  Avoid that one.  You do, however absolutely need three hard tutors for the deck to work.

I've had pretty decent luck with Diabolic Tutor.  It's expense doesn't come into play very often.  You recognize the problem when you can't Rit-Tutor on Turn one, but after that, Diabolic is a very functional replacement.

I've taken first in two tournaments (one with 30+ players) with Diabolics in IT.  They're right, that you really don't want to replace the Grims, but it can be done effectively.  Even replacing the Grims with Diabolics the deck is truly broken.  It's still worth playing.  I'd say go for it.  It's too good a deck, and too much fun to ignore it just becase you lack the Grim Tutors.

A totally random thought:

With a green splash, you could add Gro-Dryads.  It seems like the interaction of the two could be quite strong.  You're playing your spells and attacking their library while watching the Gro-man get bigger.  I guess what I'm getting at is the possibility of gro-tog with Circu.  I know it totally changes the deck, and possibly warrants another thread, but it might warrant some consideration.  A little while ago, I toyed around with Miracle Gro with Erayo, and found it to be fairly decent, but Erayo's nothing compared to Circu.

Anyway, I'm going to put together something and look at it.

So my friend and I were talking the other day about the beauty of Intuition with a welder in play, and decided to take it one step further.

Goblin Gifts 1.0

Gifted Goblin

Combo 14
4 Goblin Welder
3 Intuition
3 Gifts Ungiven
3 thirst for knowledge
1 Tinker

Tinker Targets 11
1 DSC

1 Sundering Titan
1 Platinum Angel
1 Crucible of Worlds
1 3-Sphere
1 Duplicant
1 memory jar
1 Tormod's Crypt
1 Triskilion
1 Chalice of the Void

Broke 3
1 Ancestral Recall
1 Time Walk
1 Cunning Wish

Counter 7
3 Mana Drain
4 Force of Will

Lands & Mana 25
4 Gilded Lotus
4 Mishra's Workshop
7 SoLoMoxen
5 Strips
1 Tolarian Academy
4 Volcanic Island

Sideboard
1 Fling
1 Mystical Tutor
1 Rack & Ruin
1 REB
1 BEB
1 Intuition
1 Mana Drain
1 Stroke of Genius
1 Bosh
1 Jester's Cap
1 Powder Keg
2 Crucible of Worlds
2 Chalice of the Void

The 4 gilded loti are there to allow all of the cards to be cast without tinker of welder.  They also help smooth out the colored mana issues that the deck seems to have.

So far we've had a somewhat limited pool in which to playtest it, but here're the few we've tried.

Collossus Tog:  About 50/50
FCG:  A bit below 40/60
And it's slaughtered assorted rogue decks.

Moved. Read the information Dozer was kind enough to link you to, and heed it in future posts.

Oath constitutes one third of your abusive methods by which to throw  beasties at them, so anything that disrupts oath should be eschewed (read: ESG, Llanower, BoP, Anger...)  You're far better off using enchantments for these purposes.  Vineyards are a solid choice for mana production.  If you really need haste, your best bet is probably Dragon's Breath.  Almost all of your critters trigger its effect, and its synergy with Oath is amazing.  It's also extremely castable from your hand and comes out for free with Eureka.  The biggest problem is that it's dead if you're running on Sneak Attack.

I haven't played this deck, but it's looking really strong to me, so I think I'm going to give it a shot.  So I may be way off-base here, but I think this may be the place for Serum Powder to finally show its face in Type 1.  Has anyone tried this?  What do y'all think?
