CranialFinity 1.2Artifacts [13] 4x Skullclamp 3x Cranial Plating 2x Genesis Chamber 1x Lotus Petal 1x Mana Crypt 1x Mox Diamond 1x Sol Ring Creatures [19] 4x Arcbound Worker 4x Frogmite 4x Myr Enforcer 4x Myr Moonvessel 3x Myr Servitor Instants [3] 1x Berserk 1x Crop Rotation 1x Vampiric Tutor Sorceries [7] 4x Thoughtcast 1x Demonic Tutor 1x Yawgmoth's Will 1x Wheel of Fortune Lands [18] 4x Glimmervoid 4x Seat of the Synod 4x Vault of Whispers 3x City of Brass 2x Great Furnace 1x Tolarian Academy Ok, this deck is mainly to play with friends: I' m bored about the Raffinity style deck because I wanna an artifact-aggro-style deck, which can win with a very huge creature, not a combo-style deck. Moreover, I' m interested in the use/test of Cranial Plating (which I think has potential), which is not very sinergic with the Ravager. So, I comed out with the above list. Basically the idea is to dig throught your deck, accumulating creatures on the board to clamp them or to use them to "boost" Cranial Plating, helped by other artifacts and artifact lands. Throw out a Cranial Plating (or more than 1 ) on a creature and attack, trying to Berserk it. I' m fully aware of all the flaws of the deck (Null Rod, various artifact destruction etc etc), but I' m going to face mainly some crappy Blu control/stasis (WITHOUT FoW/Drain), some gobboslight style deck (which can be a pain because of Lightning Bolt, Seal of Fire and the like), some strange combo deck (a Bringer deck, and a Reactor deck): All decks are mainly for fun and not uber T1 competitive decks. Often we play 2v2 or 3v3 with these decks. My questions are: - Do you think it' s a nice deck (I find it very funny and aggressive to play)? - What do you think I should Add/Change? - Do you think that the 4th Cranial Plating is essential? And a 3rd Genesis Chamber? - There is any better creature than Myr Servitor I' ve missed (should be clampable)? - What do you think about a Mass Histery MD? And a Tinker/Memory Jar? I' ll not make a deep analysis of card choice, because I think the decklist is quite clear and most of the cards are obvius. If you like to see it anyway, plz ask and I' ll edit this post. Sideboard is omitted because we don' t use it often, in casual play. (BTW, the deck must be T1 legal even if casual). Thx all for attention.

Vintage Community Discussion / Card Creation Forum / Greedy Ogre [1R, 4/4, Ogre, Rare with drawback/ability]

Starting cardGreedy Ogre 1R Creature -- Ogre 4/4 As an additional cost to play ~this~, sacrifice a land or an artifact. R, sacrifice sacrifice a land or an artifact: ~this~ gains haste or trample until the end of turn. "A powerful but expensive ally." [EDIT]
Actual card Greedy Ogre 2R Creature -- Ogre 4/4 When ~this~ comes into play, sacrifice it unless you discard a land card or an artifact card from your hand. Sacrifice a land or an artifact: ~this~ gains haste or trample until the end of turn. "A powerful but expensive ally."
[/EDIT]Rarity: Rare. Concept: A powerful ogre which slowly destroys your resources. Issues: Too powerful? 2R can be nicier as casting cost, perhaps. Can be considered "weenie"? 3. Four rare creatures. One should be a Dragon of some sort, and none should be weenies. At least two should be single-red in their cost. This is my idea for one of the red rare creature you need. BTW, last one for today.

What about:
Belching Dragon 4RR Creature -- Dragon 5/4 Flying If ~this~ attack, put a charge counter on it. At the end of turn, if ~this~ has no charge counters on it, it deals 2 damages to target creature or player and 2 damages to you. Then remove all charge counters from ~this~.
BTW, I like it. And I think you can put it as a "standard" 5/5 dragon.

Vintage Community Discussion / Card Creation Forum / Disciple of the Void [BB, 1/2, Cleric, Uncom. with ability]

Starting Card Disciple of the Vacuum BB Creature -- Cleric 1/2 Whenever a player draws a card, ~this~ deals 1 damage to him or her. "No knowledge, no pain."Rarity: Uncommon. Concept: An evil ascetic attendant wich "punish" the search for knowledge. Issues: Not an innovative ability. Perhaps too powerful. perhaps you need something more inventive. What about 2/2? 1. An uncommon creature. Being a cleric is a slight plus. This is my idea for the Cleric-typed uncommon creature you need.

Starting CardPyrodax 1RR Creature -- Beast 2/3 R, put a -0/-1 counter on ~this~: ~this~ deals 1 damage to target creature or player. "This creature can breath fire, but doing so destroys her stomach." [EDIT]
Actual Card Pyrodax 1RR Creature -- Beast 0/0 ~this~ comes into play with two +1/+1 counters on it. R, remove a +1/+1 counter from ~this~: ~this~ deals 1 damage to target creature or player. "This creature can breath fire, but doing so destroys her stomach."
[/EDIT]Rarity: Common. Concept: A medium-sized beast able to breath fire imperfectly, at cost of her own health. Starting card issues: Perhaps a 2/3 is too much. What about 2/2 or 1/3? Actual card issues: I was thinking about a 2RR casting cost but three +1/+1 counters. Too much? 1. Two common creatures, neither of which cost just R, and at least one of which is at least three mana. This is my idea for one of the Beast-typed common creature you need. BTW, a questione: If someone have more than 1 idea for each category of cards you' re searching (i.e.: I' ve created 4 Red Rare Cards as you ask here: http://www.themanadrain.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=16964), is he forced to post them in different posts?

Vintage Community Discussion / Card Creation Forum / Guardian Dragon [3RRR, 5/5, Dragon, Rare with draw./ability]

@Malhavoc: Perhaps you' re right. I think that the sacrifice make this creature slow enough for a T1 enviroment, where Wasteland & Like are so used, but I think 2RRR or 4RR can be nice: I' ll wait other feedbacks. Oh, and cu on TheAbyss.biz @combo_dude: I understand your point, but I must agree with Malh. The idea is a "D&D Style Red Dragon which take some of your tresure as a fee (artifact and land sacrifice) to protect yours".

Starting CardGuardian Dragon 3RR Creature -- Dragon 5/5 Flying As an additional cost to play ~this~, sacrifice a land and an artifact. As long as ~this~ is untapped, artifact and lands you control can't be the target of spells or abilities your opponents control. "The perfect guardian for your treasures." [EDIT]Actual CardGuardian Dragon 3RRR* Creature -- Dragon 5/5 Flying As an additional cost to play ~this~, sacrifice a land and an artifact. As long as ~this~ is untapped, artifact and lands you control can't be the target of spells or abilities your opponents control. "The perfect guardian for your treasures." *: Perhaps 4RR? More usable in various deck? [/EDIT]Rarity: Rare. Concept: A Red Dragon which guards your treasure by taking some of them as a fee. Starting card issues: Probably need a casting cost fix. 3. Four rare creatures. One should be a Dragon of some sort, and none should be weenies. At least two should be single-red in their cost. This is my idea for one of the Dragon-typed rare creature you need.
