I find something interesting looking at the top 8 deck lists. Tk Owen soly brian and I were all playing top main board and it was tremendous for me all day I can't say that for the others but I'm sure they would agree.

I don't find it that interesting, Top just goes along with Thirst as its the best (and one of the few) draw engines available.  It definitely shines turn 3 or later, which you will probably only get to if playing a Control mirror.   I've never been a fan of Top, its just become a necessary evil in a format without Ponder/Brainstorm.   Sad

Wow, that Bomberman list just looks horrible, who in their right mind would play that?  It's not even an optimized list!  I bet they only ran 3 Mana Drains because their 4th one was loaned out...

The tournament was great, was good to see all of the regular goons, James King got to embarrass me by showing me how back the deck I played really was.  But the joke was on you guys!  For somehow I snuck into top 8, just imagine what I could do with a real deck.   Very Happy

On a more serious note, I couldn't figure out what to play, because no deck interests me, and the mass restriction really killed what interest I had in the format.
