I know no one has posted on this topic in a while but, I would like to add that this deck is fun. It always has and always will. Also, I look at the whole thing and I thought it was funny how I said blue in this deck would be really good and no one herd me. Oh well, not a big deal!

Why not just play TPS? I play 5c Academy just for fun and rock with it most of the time. I've always thought if you wanted to take a combo deck and win games you play TPS. If you want to have fun play Academy.

I want to play Stax for fun and to test but I don't know where to start anyone got any ideas?

DuDe! I love Zoo and always wanted to build one and play it. But... I'm lazy. So, thanks but, what is your meta like? For me I took a wild new look at Zoo and added Blue. Guess wut? It works and well I must say. I tested it for a while,a list like yours, execpt with Force of will. If you want, try it. Watch TPS roll over and die. Also, the red will let you use REB in the sideboard. With all this being said, I guess you can tell my meta is controll based.

I just got the following a few hours ago for 14 bucks. It's not moxen but it will help pay for my gas.

In all I'd say it was pretty insane. It should be noted that I bought them from a comic book store that almost always check prices. I'm glad that I kinda riped them off because thats what they do to eveyone else.

I didn't get any CrAzY deals like the moxen but what I got, when I got it, and how much they have increace in value sence I bought them, is really good.

The following I got at Origins in 99.

unl. Mox blue and Beta Mox black - traded away a set of mint collectors ed. both are beat but one was 95 the other was 85 so I don't mine

From ebay I bought a play set of mint english signed mana drains for 160 right before they shot up to almost 100 each. These are most likely my favorite cards. I forget when but I got Mox red and white for 250 which are in great condition.

Thats about it execpt I got my black lotus as a gift from a family member whom introduced me to the game. And I've never payed over 10 bucks for a rev. dual. Yet I need 15 or so more, I check the price on ebay for a play set of 40 and they have gone from 500 to 700+ which to me, is CrAzY.

P.S WHY can't I find a ok condition Alpha Ancestral Recall????? I've been looking for one for two years now.

Uh, I'm think this is my current list but I haven't tinked with my deck sence the end of the summer. I currently don't use any proxies.(Like it really matters)

I do remember that I wanted to add another City of Brass to help the mana base maybe cutting a dual. Also, mess around with the Skeletal Scrying/Cunning Wish config. This however, Is just for my meta.

Hey everyone! Man it's been so long sence my last post. Anyway dude, don't let these guys get you down. You CAN play this deck with missing card. It just might not work as well. But I was in the same boat. If you want to play this deck, I recommend you saving all your pennies and playing a deck on the side.(I played Mono U for alonggg time before I was able to make this deck. I think Mono U is the best for a person who want to play 4cc because it more like 4cc than fish is)

Sence your Meta changes every week, which so does mine    , you can freely use an old deck list or even try something diffrent from eveyone else. As for the rest of your deck, I'd add atlest one Island. The one Island has saved me so much.  You might also try a third city of brass droping a dual. I personaly want to try this but I've been really busy with school and work. I noted that you are useing a type of tinker 4cc. I am using three angels and they are working fine for quite some time.

Well, This being the first time I posted something, I tryed to do the best I could. If you read, I say that I've been playing for five or so years. I couldnt post anywhere else and didn't really want to because I think there alot of people that dont have full accounts that are really good at t1.

Also, I think their where alot of "atemps" at this deck which get moved to the "newbie" section. Hence the name I chose to use.

So for eveyone (I'm not trying to be a mod) please read the whole thing before coming to a conclusion.

I want to apologize, I realized soon after my last post that I had messed up what I was trying to say. So to fix it...

I post my decklist to get feedback on certein cards AND to find any ones to be moved around or slots that could be free to use other cards. One in mind to add was scrying. As you can see now I am useing two in maindeck and one in the sideboard. It's hard for me to make changes to my deck and not concider that I mainly play locally. So I think making a change based on the meta as a whole is wrong. On the other hand, I wanted to post my list to find slots that could be maximized so it would end up make the deck best as possible. AND yes, I do know how much fish was at SCG's. I did not attend and I'm not going to sit here and say, one deck to inslave them, and one deck to rule them all. Everything in t1 is diffrent. So again, its hard for me to make changes  Also, congrats to Panas for the win.  I will concider everyones thoughts and welcome more feedback.

P.S. -if I get anything else wrong, I will edit my post

I am sorry you feel that way but I do understand the deck. Hence the reason I posted it to get feedback from. Also, 2 scrying(s) must not be that bad since someone came in 1st at StarCityGames not to long ago.

Thanks for fixing my list. I was lazy at three in the morning... -This is just a meta game as all my other deck choices. Their are far to many 1/1's that people play, not to use it. Also, I think four ways to win is the right number.

Meta Game-I play mostly local events but sometimes I get a wild hair and go to an out of state tourments like TheManaDrainOpen in Ct. or something like that. The local Meta look like this. random t2 players, 7/10 split, tog, RectorTrix, Fish, fullenglishbrakefast, random sui, sometimes sligh and TnT.

The deck is just about how I want it and runs very well. (on a side note, I fixed this deck awhile before the SCG's tourment. And when I read a few reports I was surprised to see the meta reflected mine. I kinda wounder how I would have done....)

The problems I'm haveing are the following. The three cunning wish(s) are really good first game but afterward I end up boarding them all out.
I'm thinking of going to two. I'd like feedback on this.

Reasons for three cunning wish(s)...
1)pitch to FoW
2)If I make a bad choice, I know that two more are waiting.
3)Most of all, I've played Magic for about five years and I played mono blue control for three years before starting to play Keeper/C4 for about a year or two. The one thing I've learned was, It reallyyy sucks not to have an anwser for a threat. So I figure three wish(s) would be nice and except for the reasons listed above, three works fine. If I were to drop a wish I would mostly add the third scrying.

The other problem....Land hate... While Crucible takes care of land problems in second game, Their is not much I can do about random sinkhole/waste land/strip/ ect...I did read a great form about how some people will go for a underground before a city. Which is very true in local tourments. Anyway what I have now is, one city and one plains. What I want is have two citys and one island. I have noo idea on how to fix this. Feedback would be grately excipted.

I live in the Winston-Salem area and I dont know much about durham tournaments or anything about the place where it will be held. Can anyone give me some more infor. Thanks

Hi, My name Is James I live in Winston-Salem. I go to high-point when I can but I dont make it there much because I don't have a car. I am always looking for new players and im allways willing to chat about t1. I always bug the owner of Dj's, Van, to hold bigger tounments. Hopefully one weekend we all can meet in high-point and try to win something. I think last time i was there i got 2ed and got 8 bucks were as people i know up north are getting moxen and lotus. I sure hope we can change this.

It seems we have come full circle!  I aggree with going back to morphling. Its a good choice + ive been haveing problems with people useing swords on my angels. im am skeptal of the 3ed scrying in the main. From my play testing as well as watching others play test this deck you seem to only go for 2 which i dont think is effective. I really do like fire/ice. its really a meta game choice were you decide to put it. I currently have one main and thinking of putting one in the side because i am haveing a hard time with tokens and such. also, i had a few months ago 3 cunning wishs and changed it to 2 realizing really quick it need 3. And for awhile i ran 3 decree's becauce i didnt like duress and it worked fine untell people stoped running duress so i droped it down to 2. another change was little one volcanice island out for a city of brass. it works fine one change im thinking about is droping a waste land, there again its a meta game choice. last thing i did was drop a mox monkey. for my meta game i only need one.  tell me what you guys think. p.s. 2 deree and 1 angel is fine
