So more burn, less critters, use Cursed Scroll and splash black for Grim Reminder.  Is that what I'm hearing?

What about Null Rod?  Fish and that new Madness run it...

Thanks for the link, btw!

edit: Grim Reminder was a joke.  It was a bad joke.

Oshawa Stompy is budget 'cause Bazaar is still going for $12 a pop, right?

Hell, Survival of the Fittest is going for almost that much!  And I don't mean to be a little troll here.  I mean to say that I can't afford and don't want to play other decks.  I'd like to make this work if it can.  I seem to get the impression that R/G Beatz is a dead archetype though...

Crying or Very sad

But really, why is this so "janky" that it was moved?  Ankh Sligh and R/G Beatz are all over the budget forums.  I guess I fail to see what's so wrong with this particular build.

Hello.  First post here on TMD, and I already feel like I know something!  Very Happy   But let's extiguish that idea, on to the decklist...

The Meat
x3 Mogg Fanatic
x3 Goblin Vandal
x4 Jackal Pup
x4 Kird Ape
x4 River Boa
x2 Hidden Gibbons

The Seasoning
x4 Lightning Bolt
x4 Chain Lightning
x4 Ankh of Mishra
x4 Rancor
x2 Naturalize

The Prep
x4 Elf Spirit Guide
x4 Tinder Wall
x4 Taiga (actually, it's Karplusan Forests)
x6 Forest
x4 Mountain

I won't insult your intelligence with an explanation of every card in the deck, I sure you know why Kird Ape is good.  Here's to what's unorthodox:

Tinder Wall- meant to get the deck up and running.  I really want to see this first turn and use it to drop two Pups or some similar play.  Nice synergy with Ankh too... at least compared to Mountain!  So yeah- it's not so great later but a chump blocker never hurts and I've actually used it's second ability.  Now that's fun!

Chain Lightning- used over Incinerate 'cause I don't see many Masticores.  I do see things that need zapped before an attack though and costing half as much is very often important- I never have much mana.  Sorcery speed isn't too terrible a handicap.

Goblin Vandal- instead of Mox Monkey 'cause, if I haven't mentioned, I play 1.5 with this and there's approximately zero zero casting-cost artifacts I care about in the format.  And I'll never have enough mana to get even a two coster... Vandal should be attacking anyway, but should he sit out for Scavenger Folk?  Don't like to sac my guys though Folk can't be chumped.  I'm always a conflicted here.

No Wasteland?- Nope.  Don't have any to spare.  This is hardcore budget!  But are they worth yanking from my other deck?  Where would I fit 'em?

So some simple questions, I know.  I bet you could solve my problems in your sleep.  So could ya help?  Thanks ahead of time.
