Yes, some Standart potential too (But we can't ignore Baneslayer protection).
However i believe his place might be in legacy (cabal t. might be the reason).

Ps - Grinning D. sucks

considering baneslayer has protection from demons Im pretty sure you can ignore it as baneslayer protection.

Maybe i didn't explain myself. Baneslayer eats this guy. lol

Come on... the card is not that bad.

Maybe it does not have place in Vintage. But in a legacy pox style deck it might work.
Cabal therapy, innocent blood, smallpox and even pox are good cards to get it out once you have reset your oponent's life (wich is not that hard along with Goyf).

Lotus petal and D. Ritual can put it in play very very fast.

I think it's well designed.

And what about faerie macabre?
5  Eternal Formats / Creative / Re: Iona Oath on: November 24, 2009, 10:55:10 am
Prob. ur right... But i still don't like the one creature style. Specially with Faerie Macabre around to remove business from g. yard. Maybe 1/2 hellkite and iona together is the right call.

If ill ever try just one creature it would be something like 1 cognivore with 2 dragon's breath.  with a solid core of instants - no less 25 - (Fow, Pierce, Misdirection, Intuition, Mana drain..), and something like 4 reclaim for time walk if needed.

I will try something like this:

1 Iona;
1 Hellkite;
1 Dragon's breath - (haste on iona, since we can activate the enchantment only if Iona's out)

Is this too unreal?

Nice list.  Awesome knowledge of the deck =)

Now, let's see if someone is skilled enough to ride this baby and smash the "blue forces" around.

Ps - I really believe Ensnaring B. is the solution against oath.

That's Spanish....

"Viva a revolução!"
9  Eternal Formats / General Strategy Discussion / Re: New Illusionary Mask oracle wording on: September 07, 2009, 07:29:05 pm
Hi everyone.

This is my first message in the forum and i just have to say that i will play my masks, with friends and in non official events, as if this "evolution" never happened. I will NEVER play in DCI or any other "official" event again.

The game belongs to the players, not to someone that don't know exactly what is doing.
If the mask has to be changed to the original text, i say that lotus vale, mox diamond, scorched ruins MUST be changed too. They must choose one path and follow it for EVERY card.

Best reagards to everyone.
