There's no reason not to run brainstorm. Cheap, effective, and they work wonders with Fetchs.
While Impulse is better when you're looking for a specific card, Brainstorm is better at improving the general quality of your hand since you have the option of keeping all three cards you drew and putting chaf back to be reshuffled with a Fetch.

Doesn't GAT usually run a coupla 'togs as well?
Hence the 'T' at the end of the name.

You will then control the board with your Staff.

Out of context quotes aside...
You should consider using Wirewood Hivemasters. Comboed with the Clamp they are just disgusting.
Bloodline Shaman is also very efective with the Seekers of Skybreak.

I loved that A.I.!
I made a 30Lotus/15Channel/15Fireball deck and let the comp use it.
It kept dropping one Lotus and fireballing me for two!

1-2 Angers could be cut, but I stand by the 4 Dragonmages. I use the dreams just as much as Buried Alive to get them into the graveyard, and multipuls help end the game a lot faster.

This  is a casual, unpowered deck built around the combonation of Dragonmage and Megrim.

Mana Base-22
2x Bloodstained Mire
2x Sulphurous Spring
10x Mountain
8x Swamp

Creatures-8
4x Anger (Gives Dragonmage haste)
4x Dragonmage (more discards=more damage)

Get Dragonmage into graveyard-8
4x Buried Alive
4x Devastating Dreams (very efective at taking out any blockers and making sure my opponent can't do much of anything)

Bring Dragonmage back from graveyard-8
4x Reanimate
4x Animate Dead (I chose these two beacuse they are the cheapest and most efective)

"The kill"-4
4x Megrim (Two damage per card when the Dragonmage hits)

Other stuff-10
4x Dark Ritual (Speeds out Megrim and helps to reanimate multipul dragons)
4xSeize the Day (Gives me a second attack, they are gaurenteed to have
a full hand=14+5=19 extra damage)
1x Wheel of Fortune (Dragonmage in the origional spell-like form)
1x Demonic Consultation (to find that missing piece)

=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+

Well, what do you think. It's very fun in multiplayer, the look of collective shock a six peoples faces as they're all killed by the same attack is priceless!
I know the manabase needs work, I'm looking for the duel/pain/search lands.
8  Eternal Formats / Creative / T1 Non-Foodchain Goblins on: August 02, 2004, 02:44:59 am
Fires has no place in your deck. Why play a three cost enchantment to give yer critters haste when you can play a three cost 2/2 that does the same thing? (Not to mention reducing the efective cost of every other goblin in the deck)

All your off colour tech could give you troubles, runing all the deuls will make you more vulnerable to Wasteland, BtB, ect...
Also, just like in FCG, every non-goblin that you use efectively worsen's almost every other card in the deck.

Just my 2 coppers.
