I hang out at Neutral Ground on fridays during the summer with the Stuyvesant guys and occasionally during weekends at the T1 tourneys during the school year, if anyone wants to test some T1 or Extended.
If anyone is interested in selling workshops/drains, please contact me over AIM.  I am willing to overpay slightly since the cards are hard to come by these days  Crying or Very sad
2  Vintage Community Discussion / General Community Discussion / Why do Magic players smell like ass? on: August 18, 2004, 11:09:40 am
Its weird, I think my playtest team is the only one ever which is comprised solely out of jocks.  All of us run track all year long, yet we find the time to play Magic whenever convenient.
Yet I will admit that I have yet to come across any other Magic players/Athletes.
I think that the competitive element of the game is what draws my friends and I to the game.
For the non-athletic, the game provides an outlet for their competitive urges and a chance to be a winner.

Yet being the track-man that I am, I recommend to all to participate in some sort of physical activity multiple times per week, as it is a great way to let out agression and anxiety as well as staying in good health.  Though if you do exercise, please take a shower and put on deoderant, or tournament sites will smell even worse! You should check out the Nitro Elves thread in the Budget Forum.  They run some of the same cards as you, yet their list is faster and more consistent than yours.
