I'm very new to Type 1, never played but have been reading through the forums here at TMD and at brainburst and SCG. This deck is just an attempt at a Quirion-Sligh deck, its pretty generic as I don't have a Metagame(just like the idea of T1 but recently moved so i have no idea where to play at), but it does have Null Rod and Shaman to handle power.

Mana Base:

4 Tiaga
4 X/R fetchland
10 Mountains

Creatures:

4 Quirion Dryad
4 Jackal Pup
4 Goblin Cadet
4 Grim Lavamancer
3 Gorilla Shaman

Burn:

4 Lightning Bolt
4 Chain Lightning
4 Incinerate
3 Pyrokinesis

Disruption:

3 Null Rod
4 Wasteland
1 Strip Mine



So there it is, I really just wanted to build a deck using the Dryad, which I guess someone will bring up that I should just go with the flow and play GAT. I should, but I played Upheaval Tog in extended for awhile and am sick of blue control.

So with that said I just wanted to get some peoples opinions on what seems like can be a very fast and powerful deck. But I'm new to the format so I could be completely wrong, thank you in advance for any advice.
