Hey, thanks for attempting to answer my question, but we don't do everything like its 2006, just play with 4x brainstorm, ponder, gifts and scroll....
For example, we don't make Bush jokes or put on Sexyback when we play.... we play with the current Time Vault erratta too.

Hi, I was trying to come up with a deck to play with casually, and was wondering if anyone could help me get started on optimizing Tezzeret for the 2006 T1 meta. My friends play with 4x brainstorm, scroll, gifts and the like. I was wondering what engine might be best with those cards. With access to 4x Brainstorm and Merchant Scroll, would you run any Thirst for Knowledge? What MD cards are the most expendable to make room?
