Vintage Community Discussion / General Community Discussion / Do you cut the corners on CE cards?

I love CE. There's just nothing like mint black-bordered cards with the original artwork. I hate, however, those ugly square corners. So I cut them, very carefully, including my Power.
Some people I play with assert that I'm ruining my cards. I disagree. In an opaque sleeve, a well-cut CE is nearly indistinguishable from an Alpha or Beta. It's beautiful--better looking than "real" Unlimited Power in my opinion. Personally, I value a well-cut CE card equal to (or higher) than an uncut one; like altered card art, pimping modifications are extra. (Obviously, a mangled cut lowers the value.)
Do y'all cut your CE?

Here's another idea: make Collector's Edition tournament legal. Since they're already out there, Wizards could essentially release a manageable amount of Power and duals into circulation without actually printing anything. The CE cards are already valuable and rare. Obviously, they'd have to be played in opaque-backed sleeves, but so does Alpha. And there's precedent for making a non-tournament set legal in Portal. And the cards themselves are freaking beautiful....

I just found my old Shahrazad and want to build a deck around her, preferably one that's multiplayer friendly. That is, I want something that makes for an interesting and unusual experience but is not unreasonably annoying. Any ideas?
