Hi,
I was one of the Top8 players, with "Almost Blue", and the one that I beat on the Quarters was playing "Doomsday".
It was a great tournament with a "big" variety of decks (I think that with a "predominance" of Oath). But as always, the best were all the players and people that make possible these kind of events (As one of the members of the LCV organization I know how difficult it is).
Thanks to all,
Pau Cantero

Hi,
As one of the team members, and the one that usually plays the oath deck, i will try to ansewer the question. It's obious, but it depends a lot on the kind of oath shell that you use.
From the tezzert point of view i think that que dragon oath is the best matchup, as also the ones that abuses from mana denial (Waste/Strip), your mana base is rock solid, and you can "combo" faster than they. On the other hand,I think that this is reversed when we talk about the ones that abuse, or are centered (Like the one that I usually play) on the role of control thx to Iona, and also packs the "tonto combo" (Key/Vault). If Iona hits the battelfield, the things will look so bad, and the two decks have the same amount of cheap counter magic.
Post side the things will go better for the Tezz player, thx to spell snare and duress, but it also depends on the side strategy of oath player.
Hope this helps.
