Hey Vito,
Haven't played you in a while hope that chance comes again sooner than later. Anyway, I love that deck design that Beaver and the other guys from Scranton N.E.P.A. came up with. AND THEY ARE THE TRUE CREATORS OF THAT DECK DESIGN REGARDLESS OF WHO MAY SAY WHAT. It seems to get you there even with little action in hand do to the big gain in mana production and constant dig. In my opinion it has one of the best search engines in the format for the way it is designed more so than any other deck I've seen. Even though I may play a simpler deck, I too Credit those from N.E.P.A. Scranton: a.k.a. Beaver, Nate, Chris, Vito, Pace, Dom, and Dad and Wilkes-barre: a.k.a Keith, Duffy, and Kelly for the player I have become and the player I will be. For that a big thanks to all you guys. Great job at the tournament Vito, you a truly becoming one of the best this area has to offer!

your dragon breath theory would be good only for game 1 there is so much graveyard hate already built into the format that chances are, after games one, they can pop your grave yard before your dragons breath can trigger.
Bringing in grave hate against oath is awful... It equates to: Congrats you wasted deck slots so that when I activate oath, I’m just left with this huge dude to kill you with. i guess your not familiar with tidespell tyrant hate then where they are looking to bounce everything and combo, or blessing, or now dragons breathe, or regrowth, and yog will, even the combo with brain freeze. My point is with the meta games changing boards and how you play them will also. What you think is dumb could turn into the one play that works. Thats why we play test my friend and learn

I am a shop player and really I am not worried for these reasons: 1. The format needed a tougher card to deal with players of shop decks due to their strong hold on the format 2. The card still needs another turn to work anyway which buys some outs for a player 3. With how heavy sculpting steel and duplicant are in the format it gives you as a shop player multiple outs. Also the new card "Mirror Works" could see some play in sideboards due to this card colloses 4. Lets not forget tanglewire/smokestack or tanglewire/crucible of worldsto buy time for the win. 5. Usually first turn tinker wins anyway so whats the point unless you have a strong hand on your turn to compete 6. Welder will see a small comback with some of these card now coming out in this block 7. Let's not forget about side board cards such as Jester's cap and eon hub(for shop) 8. Finally when you play shop against oath the whole point is to stop oath from hitting the battlefield so you don't even have to worry about their creatures.
So to me it is what it is there are still plenty of outs for shop players

i believe the key to the deck is incorporating 4 chalice of the void and 3 null rod the reason being, if you have a first turn chalice and a first turn null rod you can bait with null rod with chalice back up and if they don't stop the lay next turn is chalice on 2 which shuts off most of their deck anyway.
