Seems like every other drain/tendrills deck out there with 2 Steel Sabotage tossed in.
Steel sabatoge is better than annul but just barely or maybe not at all?
My 2 cents worth.

(I dont reply, just keep playing so he expounds)

Gifts is out of control. You can win the game with it. You need to have 2 gy recursion cards for it to go off tho. Example:
Set them up to be tapped out at EOT or have more counters than they have cards in hand, then cast gifts. Get vault, key, regrowth, yawg will. Take your turn, they lose.

I hate to see this thread derail.
Seriously some of you guys attacked this poor kid because he is playing something you dont agree with. Like it boggled your mind that he would actually play something other than what you want him to.
I like to see the different builds from around the world. One funny thing that has not changed in 15+ years is the rhetoric from people who think they have "the perfect optimal winning build" figured out. Part of the fun is the one or three different slots that people debate over.

Dont dismiss what he says out of hand. balance+zorb is/can be strong. There are many deck/keeper/control decks out there that differ by only a few cards.
This is what makes the game fun. I would like to see some matches.

I have been crushing Gush decks left and right too.
I'm not sure if the pilots were bad or what. I have played against about every gush net-deck you care to name and usually they quit while bitching about "mana screw". When you run 14 lands against a 5 waste + crucible meta and return lands to your hand as part of your strategy, its not "mana screw".

Seems like a classic 'turbo stall' build. I'm sure when it works it works but it feels like you are trying to squeeze too many good strats into one deck.
Just my 2 cents.

Hi all,
Trikky here, nice to forum-meet you all.
I'm sure I know some of you, I have been playing since the tail end of beta. Exclusively type 1 though I also like to draft and played some other formats for fun in tourneys in Florida during the 90's. I didnt play from 2000 until the last few months.
I am from South Florida, spent many years in Gainesville Florida and now live in Atlanta. Nickname is "Carlos'. I played thousands of apprentice games in the late 90's, knew almost everyone on IRC.
I'm getting back into playing T1 tourneys, I maintain 1 tourney deck (T1) and thats about it. I also have a fun deck that I use to play normal decks, but my main focus is one T1 tourney deck. I dont collect, I dont trade, I only tune the one deck. And I draft. I played a 4 vice burn deck until they restricted vise, then switched to control. I quit playing competitively when they nerfed mirror.
Sadly my deck, strats and experience has been sleeping for 10 years. Im trying to turn a late 90's keeper into something that wins now. Look forward to participating in tmd online community and play testing online.
