Waoh, I'm not a premium member but since the comments on this article rate it as excellent and since Meandeck Gifts is one of my favorite decks ever, I'm definitely considering premium membership.

Hi guys,

I'm a French vintage player (bad player, I must precise) living in Paris, France.

I started to play Magic when I was 14 (the english Revised Edition was just out). I played for two years before quitting. I restarted to play again two years ago (I'm 24 now). I began more interested in Vintage in particular, and since I have acquired most of Type 1 staple cards. I'm just lacking Grim Tutors right now.

I played only at a few sanctionned tournaments but never made great results (guess you have to play on a regular basis to get good, which it is not my case  ). I splitted one time for a Workshop at a local tournament, which is my best result so far.

Besides cards, I'm working as a business intelligence consultant (dunno if it is the same term for the US, sorry if it is not) which is pretty much a specialized computer science domain. I'm also a big jazz fan, whether it is "old school" or recent. I also have a passion for the rock band Radiohead (UK not OK!). I'm practicing squash and thai boxing as sports.

My favourite decks are Mana Drain decks, including various builds of Control Slaver and Gifts.

If you look at the list pointed by stichadou, you will see that Paul was playing a maindeck Balance. His list was in fact a Keeperesque Tog, I think it could be improved by removing some togs and adding the Tinker-BigMan stuff.

I always thought SoloMoxen meant the five "real" Moxen  + Chrome Mox + Mox Diamond.

I guess the "Sol" prefix is there for something...  

Good, but stricly inferior to Intuition or Fact or Fiction IMHO.

I don't like the fact to choose four different cards, it is sooo restrictive.

Is your card list is correct ?

I saw SoloMoxen (7 cards) plus Mox Diamond just below...

Maybe it's me.
