There's a couple of things i must put forward: 1) I'm from Italy and - i must admit - my english is not that good.. So i ask you not to scold me if i made a mistake in writing something.. 2) In Italy, the use of proxies for tournaments is not allowed yet (with all the consequences that this involves)..
My version of Parfait:
::The Engine:: 4 Land Tax 4 Scroll Rack 2 Claws Of Gix
::Me Trying to Control:: 4 Chalice of the Void 2 Coretapper 2 Isochron Scepter
::Removals' Department:: 4 Seal of Cleansing 2 Abolish 1 Engineered Explosives 4 Swords to Plowshares 1 Balance
::Protections & Tutors:: 4 Orim's Chant 4 Abeyance 3 Argivian Find 1 Enlightened Tutor
::Somehow I Have to Win:: 1 Goblin Charbelcher
::Mana:: 14 Plains 1 Mana Vault 1 Lotus Petal 1 Sol Ring
Tot.: 60
Some explanations now. Italian metagame is split into spoilered/unspoilered. So, since about 50% of the decks runs P9, the other 50% plays a 3x of null rod md.. Then, i have to do something to prevent or, at least, to contain the gift-decks' frightening starts, and at the same time i have to do something not to die when null rod comes into play.. That's why i chose to play a 4x of cotvs, and 6 (yeah, 6) artifact-removals md. Straight after, i noticed that any cotv with a number of counters on it different from 0, the most of times, hurt me more than my opponent.. Besides i realized that putting a cotv with 2 or more counters on it within reasonable times, was impossible.. Coretapper allows me to have a cotv at 2/3 in play within the first 2/3 turns, and claws of gix allow me to get rid of chalices at 1/2 if i need to (still being a part of the engine).. The 4+2 artifact-removals, with orim+abeyance+argivian backup, should prevent null rod from messing up my gameplan.. I didn't even think of a splash with red for blood moon, because in Italy Dragon/Oath/Stax are considered a minority, and Gift/T1TEvo/WuTang can easily sfetch for basics in the first turns and make my blood moon totally useless..
