This thread breaks infinite rules, but it's not so horrible as to warrant locking.  Moved to newbie, pending the arrival of a reply from the original poster that actually contains some thought.

here's a post with some thought: stop being a dick that was my first post ever. just forget about it I don't really care anymore.
2  Eternal Formats / Creative / Waterfront bouncer or gilded drake to deal with oath? on: December 25, 2004, 06:24:41 pm
I'm debating between the bouncer and the drake to deal with oath matchups, and I have two slots left on my sideboard for that reason. I don't know which one is better and any imput would be appreciated. Although the bouncer's ability is done at instant speed, you don't get to keep the creature. I like it better than the bouncer becuase once it's on the board it's not going anywhere, but the ability to take oath's big creatures seems like a pretty good deal.

thanks

3  Eternal Formats / Miscellaneous / Is lose hope (don't laugh) a good way to deal with welder? on: December 25, 2004, 05:33:32 pm
As a sideboard card, I've been testing with lose hope (target creature gets -1/-1 and you can scry 2) to deal with welder based decks and it seems to be working very well. It basically does the same thing as blue elemental blast except you get to look at the top 2 cards of your library and decide to keep them or not, an ability I think is particularly powerful in type 1. Of course this card is not fit for all sideboards since it is black, but let me know what you guys think.
