Hey all.
I can only fit about 34 players at my store, so please shoot me an e-mail or call and let me know you're coming to the tourney. That way I'll get an idea of whether or not I'll have to rent a hall to have the tourney in. There's a place across the street from my store I can rent for the day.
You'll also be entered into a drawing for 10 packs of Betrayers if you do.

Hi again, folks.

I forgot to mention a couple things:

I have Type 1 tourneys EVERY Saturday at 1pm.
Admission is $3 to $5 (I let the players decide)
All entry money is distributed in store credit
60 percent to 1st, 40 percent to 2nd
I will add prizes for 3rd and 4th if 10+ players show.

Also Fridays at 7pm is Standard (starting in March, Friday Night Magic, with the give-aways!)

And Thursday at 7pm, booster drafts.

The store is open late on Thurs-Sat, so you can hang around and play, trade, and maybe even start another tourney   .

5-8th prizes: TBA (only if 20+ show)

16+ players need to show, or the prizes slip down one notch, and entry is only $7.00 (and I'll have another tourney later for the Jizzy)

Please make color copies on typing paper and slide it over a common and write "proxy" in small letters somewhere on the card face.
If you can't do this prior to the tourney, I also sell nice proxies for real cheap.

Yes, I will do the "10 proxy" thing, as seams to be standard these days.
I like to see nice color copies on typing paper slipped into the sleeve over a common, with "proxy" in small letters somewhere on the print.

But I was looking at the big tournies rules, and for some reason they just want a land with "Mox Jet" written on it...?

Is this because they're worried WotC will b!+(# about copyrights?

My Tourneys generally have a $5.00 admission, with the top prize being 60 percent of the total admissions in store credit (10 players= $30 credit for 1st), 25 percent to 2nd and 10 percent (usually 1 or 2 newer boosters) to 3rd and 4th.

I will NOT skimp on prizes! Happy winners everytime!

I have a nice Juzam   Djinn and 3 Force of Wills I will be putting up for 1st and second prize, some time in February, I just need to figure out how to get the word out enough first (this is a good start   ).

The Juzam/FoW tourney will have a $10 entry, and 16+ players need to show or the entry fee will drop and a different prize will be given. (I'll probably then make the Forces the 1st prize).

I can comfortably seat about 34 players in my store.

I will also be looking into "Friday Night Magic" and getting sanctioned.

I'll keep everyone posted!

I just opened a store in Tilton, New Hampshire, and want everyone to empty their bank accounts and come on by and spend, spend spend!

OK, not really, but at least I'm honest!  

Anyway,
What I wanna tell ya'all 'bout is
I hold Vintage Tournaments EVERY Saturday at 1pm,
and plan on adding more tourneys (all formats),
on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights at 7pm
(I'll talk it over with players, and we'll figure out when and what formats).
