BTW, I have a Canon 7D, and a 35mm f/1.4L and 50mm f/1.4 for it. I don't know how to stream video from it but it can't be too hard to figure out. If someone's got a hefty tripod and/or experience in this domain, and wants to try and record this bitch, PM me please. We might even try having expert commentary going on..? Just trying to match the ambition, here As freaking awesome as this sounds, Depot is a pretty tight space, I don't know if it can pulled off. (Though pictures throughout the event would be a great thing_ Nick I think you forgot to add my name

1st place means nothing in a top 4 split. That's the same as being the 1 seed in a top 8 chop and saying you won the event. All 8 of you won because you got the same prizes. Anything else would be an insult to the others involved. You can claim you won, but the other 3 are equally winners.
Agreed, it also seems silly to base final standings based on swiss when people are in different spots because of something like breakers. It also seems silly that you would not want to play in top 4 because you're in "1st place." Isn't a completely earned 1st place better than a questionable first place? And if you were confident that you would do well where you make a monetary gain, why not do it for the gain of glory? Idk...I just like to play as much magic as I can. Seems like a nice tournament, must be nice to only have 1 shop deck out of 16 players; I just love Long Island.

Mike, I'll wait on a confirmation from you.
Done. (see what I did there) Also, dont miss the new and improved comic book depot now +1 tv and potentially new chairs and tables. Depot looks awesome. I can't wait for people to see it. Alan cut down all the tables to proper table height, bought new (comfortable) chairs, installed the TV (which will have football on), changed around his displays, and picked up a bunch of cards. He's also running a deal this Sunday for KMC sleeves, which he'll announce at the store. He has more changes in mind, but he's making real headway. Depot is a great place to play. All such excellent news. Can't wait to play !

I'm still going for obvious reasons but why not make this a qualifier as well? Keep the same prizes except make 1st place an invitation, one last hurah in NY, seems like a great way to celebrate. On a 100% unrelated note, I plan on taking this down.

Justin Kohler is unstoppable.
I find it amusing that the 6th place deck is "ironically" titled Mono Green Shops (when it's actually Dredge) and then the 7th place deck is listed as "Mono White Shops" which isn't a joke at all.
It's not supposed to be ironic, I run Nature's Claims which is green and Shops because I worked hard on it.
