Saturday, July 7th at noon Meta-Games wil host our 3rd Rags to Riches Event. This time, instead of a piece of Power Nine, we're going to give away a cash prize payout of $500. Payout will be as follows

1st Place - $300

2nd Place - $100

3rd-4th Place - $50

 Entry fee will be $10, format will be Peasant Constructed (our FAQ about peasant can be found here)

Saturday, November 4th, Meta-Games will be hosting a Peasant Constructed Magic tournament with a $5 entry fee, and first place will be an Unlimited Mox Ruby (scans can be found here and here). Prizes for other finishers will varry depending on turnout. Registration will begin at 10:00 am and play will begin at 11:00 am. Hope to see a lot of people there!

Incase anyone was wondering how this event ended up, I have a brief tournament report here

We also plan on hosting another peasant for power tournament in late September, check our website or keep watch on the forums for details that will probably start solidifying late summer!

I have recieved a lot of questions concerning this tournament, and most of them are pretty similar. I created a quick list of the more important things to know about the rules for this tournament here. Thanks alot and I hope to see alot of you out.

no minimum # of people, if there is a player, we'll give out a jet.

Meta-Games will be hosting a Peasant Magic Tournament on May 27th. Rarity will be based on Gatherer's lowest rariety(gatherer.wizards.com), and we will be following the "official" banned and restricted list. First Prize will be a Mox Jet. Entry fee will be $5. Start time will be 2:00 pm. Later in the afternoon we'll also have a 2HG sealed Tournament, with the winning team members each recieving a box of Dissension ($30 entry, 5 pm start).
