I'm in, if I'm not too late.
2  Vintage Community Discussion / General Community Discussion / Re: Audio Program Help! on: January 29, 2009, 08:03:11 pm
Well,

Assuming this is a Windows based machine, you can do it in the built-in audio recorder program.

Windows->Accesories->Entertainment I think?

Anyway, the most ghetto effective way of doing this is by literally taking a 1/8" Male-Male cable and plugging your computer's speaker out to the microphone in.

It's been a while since I've rocked it this way, so you may be able to record the system sound innately now, but that's easiest.

Hope this Helps!

EDIT: I thought you meant he was pulling down audio from his wedding video...move along....nothing to see here Very Happy

I've mixed a couple of bands and such for big venues, but that's not very often.

Top 8 Decklists from both days have been posted.

Day 1

Day 2

Could someone explain the Greater Gargadons and Ingot Chews in the Painter's Decks' sideboards?  Are the Greater Gargadons some tech with Fastbond and Yawgmoth's Will?  I presume the Ignots were for chalice at 1, but curious how successful those were vs. other options.

Ingot Chewers demolish chalice at 1, but I dont think any of us played against shops day 1.  Since I wasn't there for day 2 I can't say if they helped or not,  I did however use it to great effect smacking pithing needles all day.  The Gargadon was a last minute addition because its an uncounterable way to sacrifice spirit tokens from Orchards, but it also has the hillarious play of "Time Walk, sac my lands smack for 9, walk turn, smack for 9."  Though I'm pretty sure it never actually got used like that.  When I played it against oath I made some glaring play mistakes, but he pretty much just waited the turns necessary and countered it to win.  But I'm still curious whether I could have won if i played it correctly though.

I'm Jon Summers, from the top 16.  Me, Brassy, Stephan and Mark "The Future" Tuttle were all playing the same list which we affectionately called MSPaint (Merchant Scroll Painter).

And Sextiger, we used Gifts too, it was like the return of Flame Vault Gifts.  :p

So just so that we can keep things updated as fast as possible for this humongous event.  I'll be giving out my Twitter.  Go to Twitter.com/MadAsAHatter.  I'll be posting from my phone if I can't get a wifi signal in the convention center.

Whee!

I'm Jon Summers, the Ichorid player.

Probasco's sideboard plan was fairly classic, August kept a one-lander with some gas and a single flooded strand.  Andy keeps and encroaches...August looks at it, looks at his hand and slams it on the table.  He never got to pull it out on me in the swiss though...

On a side note, I have pics which I'll be posting hopefully tommorow, wasn't a huge turnout, but a lot of good people.

So, Andy's in Atlanta for like what?  Two or Three weeks?  and he's already top8ing our tournaments like he owns the place...

Though, apparantly Ichorid is some good against GAT :p

Good to meet you Brassy, we should throw some cardboard around sometime, especially when Anusien's in town and Zherbus doesn't decide that there's more important things than a mox tournament.

I honestly didn't think Atlanta would ever have had so many quality vintage players...
