By any chance do you know if the EBA deck went through both Gifts decks or did he play against any of the stax decks. This deckstyle seems to have some game in Germany four of them in the last 3 top 8s posted, I must build it I'm sure I'll like it since it has Negators.
I have played against the Gifts from Paul, in the first Game he killed me in a huge Ywin turn. In the second Game I can screw him with Stifle and Duress. And in the last one he mull into 4 and I win.
In the Finals I have played against Oli with 5C Staxx. A horrible Match up for my Deck pre Board. But I won because of the Meddling Mage. :wink:In the second Game I win with the Sacred Ground on the Board.
My other Matches was against:
CA, Tps, Oath
