Hi,

My name is Mike. I've been playing on and off since '94 (started literally days before Legends was released in stores; I didn't know enough to get any. Bleh.), back when Type 1 was known as 'Magic'. I was also a lurker and occasional poster back in the BD Type 1 forum days, and originally signed up to TMD when it was first announced there. I played in a few of the tourneys they held in Syracuse, NY, back in 2002-2003 era (Tales Twice Told? I forget the store name. It's since changed.)

After getting out during Darksteel, I got pulled back in last year, mostly due to the convenience of MTGO. With the announcement of P9 being released there at some point this year, I figured it was time to start playing some more of the One True Format.

I've moved out to San Francisco since I was last active in tournaments, but I never got rid of my T1 staples, so I'm in good shape going forward. My time is limited due to work so I'm not able to travel to tourneys too often. I'm far more likely to be found on MTGO (same username), but I do plan to be at Eudomonia's July 28 Vintage so perhaps I'll see some of you there.
