Hi folks.

I'm Ryan - I've been playing Magic since 1995. Though I do enjoy pre-releases/releases and the occasional sealed tourney, most of my playing experience is kitchen table Magic and draft. House rules amongst my friends are that decks should follow either the Type I or Type 1.5 B/R list (dating myself by not saying Vintage and Legacy, right?) So, for the most part, I ignore Standard and Modern. More recently, I've really gotten into EDH - it's probably my favorite format.

Besides playing, I've recently gotten into collecting original art. To that end, RitNecroWin (via Prospero) invited me to join TMD so I could participate in the Art discussion threads. I've discovered that collecting the original art is much more satisfying than just collecting the cards. If you haven't tried it, you should. But be careful - if you think collecting the cards can be addicting... wow... the art is 10x worse.
