soul searching

To each his own. I had to do some soul searching when I decided to abandon my MTGO acct and again basically years back when I quit playing live. I had a considerable emotional/social investment into MTG (still do) and quitting those things that I loved to do was very hard for me.

Things that I did with ease, Join the Army, fight in combat, get married, have kids… none of this stuff was a "soul searching" event for me but for most people I think it would be the case… I will say that having kids is enlightening for me and a happy occasion every day BUT it was easy to do.

I think someone shouldn't criticize what another person finds to be some "soul searching" occasion...

If there was Mac support...

Same here. When they forced the move my Mac had a lot of issues playing on the Parallels stuff. Just not worth the aggravation. I gave away my power to members of the art group on FB! I wish it weren't so but I feel like WOTC will never get their act together regards MTGO.

It sounds like Loucks was a bad hire after reading his spiel.

That happened to me before and I complained and they restored my acct a day later.
The biggest issue, for me, is the drafts where you play against people who are multi-accounting and run the time all the way down and makes the games completely un-fun. I've been looking to play other games online due to this. I don't think it's something they can "solve" and likely don't care but for sure I'm likely going to just be a collector of the old cards sooner than later.

Maybe 1999 I was in Burbank and Warners was at least looking at this.
At the time it seemed like a bad idea even though they're a good studio.
I can't think of a good movie based upon a game. Sure MTG has storylines now and whatnot but they kinda stuck them in there with Weatherlight onward as more marketing imo.
I think best case scenario is we get something along the lines of Transformers that will look good and make $$ appealing to 12 year olds. Honestly, I think that is the best case scenario for WOTC.

Excalibur was good. Conan is the best imo.
Ravenous has a really great soundtrack and I play it as often as the Conan one.
I really liked the Two Steps From Hell preview music for the Star Trek reboot and have those.
Dune soundtrack has a few good songs by Toto (They did fantasy genre rock music asides Africa and Rosanna fare...)

I wish they named the "special" rarity "Impossible" or "Stupid" rare instead.

I hope they don't reprint LED or anything from Mercadian in here as I enjoy drafting those sets (I'm in the minority probably).

I look forward to this but not big on the Madness cards they previewed for the set. That doesn't seem too Vintage to me.

Just got an acct here from reading the FB art page. I have a few answers to some questions on some art threads but not sure how to reply on those yet.

I also have a collection of Vintage cards but sadly nowhere to play locally.
