This card is awesome and I need a bunch of them.
It stops Oath, it stops Tinker bots, and hates on Dredge... Also, how exactly does Dredge deal with this since they mostly run Dark Blast to kill all the x/1 hate dudes.
Murderous Cut Dismember Firestorm The issue is now we are fighting on so many different angles that the deck kind of falls victim when you don't find the right answer to the vast amount of unique hate our opponents have access to. Dredge can survive this, but it will need a lot of innovating, which is not something I see Dredge pilots at the moment doing. I've worked on many interesting Dredge lists, and would be happy to share some examples, but when you see my lack of Narcomoeba, you'll probably just laugh and walk away. Darkblast still kills x/2s, just less efficiently. Blast in the upkeep, Dredge for draw, Blast again. Does require two mana though. Firestorm is probably the best overall though, since it fills two roles. Oh I am very familiar with Darkblast. Although I have been very pleased with Murderous Cut at the moment. Depends of course on the hate your opponents have access to, which makes it a bit narrower than Firestorm. It does a hell of a job of killing big bad demons though.

I can see how Library would in some cases be your 5th Bazaar (less card draw exchange), but I would think you would just always rather have a Bazaar. I've been running through some post board hands and I've felt many times I've been 1 mana away from getting the Dark Depths combo online, digging for Riftstone Portal to turn on Bazaar in helping activate Stage. I will say however that I am very new to this style of Dredge and I will be doing some more testing and I really appreciate the innovation to the archetype you have been running. It seems that Dredge really doesn't find much innovation lately as the community just doesn't change their deck lists much. I've been through many iterations and I've even cut Narcomoeba in my latest list and have been enjoying it. My next stage is to replace Library with Riftstone Portal for the added chance of hitting Riftstone Portal and turning on Stage mana easier through perpetual dredging to find it off Bazaar. If you are simply just digging with Bazaar, you will eventually have to halt to regrow your hand so you can keep cards in hand after an activation. The deck has some serious merit for sure and deserves to be explored, but I feel like taking it to champs may be unreliable, if you are playing Dredge and expect many Dredge opponents at a big event like champs, I would expect mainboard Leyline of the Void, and this deck has no way to combat that in the main, essentially giving up a free game one. I am curious how relevant Hexmage is, and how often you are really able to turn it on, ie: 2 black mana and a darkdepths in play, or urborg/dark depths. I found that out of many hands in testing that I haven't once Hexmage'd where I couldn't just Stage anyway, and relying on a Hexmage without Force backup might just be an unkeepable hand. Hexmage will definitely steal faster games in some cases, and it is a hedge to when people get smart about playing against your deck and run Pithing. So it could be correct anyway, it just is wonky sometimes. Those are my initial assessments and I can't say for sure any of them are absolutely correct, but I will keep looking into this variant, thanks for the innovation!

Maybe this has been answered already and I am missing it, but I am curious what the best route of travel would be for someone who is flying in? In terms of airport and then travel from airport to the place. In addition, if there are already people planning this travel and want to share a ride or something and are looking for an additional person, I would be grateful. My plans really depend on travel, and the best I'm seeing at the moment is a flight from Rochester (where I am) to Westchester County Airport, but then its another 50+ minutes from there to the event. So that definitely requires a car or something, the other option is cab to a train, and then train to close by, which is 2 hours of travel on train? I would appreciate any advice, if there is no good way to do this, I understand and hope you all have an awesome time.

I will do a home invasion on you. I will cut the power to your house and the next thing you'll hear is me climbing up your stairs in a pair of night vision goggles I bought in the back of Soldier of Fortune magazine. I'll pick the lock to the master room door, take a picture of you in bed with the Nogueira brothers working on your 'jiu-jitsu'. I'll take said quote unquote photograph, post it at dorksfrombrazil.com, password - not required, username - not required.
Listen Ertai Adept, I am coming to New York on Friday, and I'll tell youu this RIGHT NOW... This is going to be a home invasion. I will cut the power to your house, and the next think you are gunna hear is me climbing your stairs in a pair of night vision goggles i bought in the back of Soldier of Fortune magazine. I will pick the lock to your master bedroom, and take a picture of you and Samoht 'playtesting'. I'll take that photograph, log onto idiotsfromtheeastcoast.com... password - not required. Vintage Community Discussion / General Community Discussion / Re: Um.. Judge.. Foil.. FORCE OF WILL

I think they'll be a fortune, and I think they'll maintain their value, but man oh man was this done poorly. Old borders were absolutely necessary on this foil. The original art is so unbelievably iconic, and they were free to use that. Foil old bordered Force of Will with the Terese Nielsen art would have been so much nicer than this. The new borders are a train wreck. The new art will never replace the Force of Will that we all know and love.
So, yeah, they'll be a fortune, but this could have been handled so much better. I'm disappointed.
I 100% agree, Terese Nielson's art is both iconic and extremely well done. I just hate seeing them ignore it and use updated border/art on a card we've all come to know and love. But I am okay with this however: Oh how I love Dredge.
