Hey I'm Chris and have been playing magic on and off for as long as I could hold the cards and my older cousins and their friends were willing to play against a kid would couldn't read yet and explaining the rules to at any normal speed was out of the question. Since then I left and come and come back to this game every few years depending on where I had moved too and how much money I could get away with spending on new cards. Anyway over the weekend my eldest cousin found one of our old stashes of cards at our grandparents' place and we finally had power cards again, and he sent me some of the pieces. Since I'm now the somewhat proud owner of a black lotus, emmy, ruby, and pearl (all somewhat bent/worn and I think the water damage on the Emmy is actually my drool considering the last time I played with that old aggro dec I was 4 at best) I figured I should join what I've been told is the best forum for vintage. I'll probably be lurking the humans and TMWA theards mostly until I gain more power/replace my current damaged ones, but hopefully my enthusiasm to try and find new ways to attack metas and shake up the status quo leads to something useful for others.
