I've been playing magic off and on since around Guildpact, if I remember correctly, starting my collection with a pack of Ravnica, the 7th edition blue intro deck (I think it was called Bomber or something similar) and the Betrayers of Kamigawa G/W Spirit/Arcane theme deck. Since then I've been playing casually with anyone I could find, and occasionally I would draft or go to prereleases at my LGS. After an absence of about 2 years, I noticed that some of my older cards had dramatically gone up in value, so I decided to start playing competitively. I tried T2 for a few weeks and hated it, so I dived straight into the eternal formats. I now regularly play Legacy at my LGS and I test/discuss T1 concepts with some friends despite there being no regular T1 events in my town. Hoping to start working towards some power and other T1 staples soon!
