Hello all. Glad to finally join the forums. I'm from central Illinois and part of a small group (three of us) working to build a Vintage scene here. I started playing in 1994, stopped collecting but still played casually and infrequently from 1998-2000, and quit completely when I went to college in 2000. I didn't return to the game until the beginning of 2013 when my parents found all my old cards in their basement during a move. I was surprised at the time that the game was still being played (much less thriving). It didn't take long to get hooked again. I've been playing mostly Legacy, but I have the cards for Vintage and Old School 93-94 (or Magic 95/96, which is another fun format). This seems to be a common story for many of us, and I suspect others will be coming back to the game and looking to jump back into the kitchen-table formats of old as they do...hopefully Vintage and 93-94 (or 95-96) get nice boosts in numbers as that happens.
