1  Vintage Community Discussion / Community Introductions / Re: Trying to get a Vintage scene in Southern Ontario on: December 06, 2014, 09:16:30 am
I use to go to BKG every Saturday for legacy until I got into a car accident and now I don't have a car to travel. I'll be buying a new car either today or sometime next week.

I wouldn't mind CE for this. I would have to talk to my friends to see what they say about that though.

I'll make sure to PM you once I get an answer.

You should reach out to Shock Wave for a better handle on Canadian Vintage.

Thanks for the advice.

I have about 2 other friends who play vintage and we've been wanting to try and get a monthly vintage tournament going. Before I'll have to ask stores around the area to see if they'll be willing to host a vintage tournament for us but before that I want to make sure I can get enough people for this.

We'll be hosting this hopefully in Dundas or Hamilton and allowing a 5 card proxy.

If anyone in the area is interested please pm me your email address and I can let you know when we can all do it.

I remember I use to always play a little bit of magic as a child but never understood the game. It wasn't until about 2 years ago I actually understood the rules and about a year ago that I started going into it competitively.

The only formats I play are Legacy and Vintage.

I live in southern Ontario and if anyone is around that plays vintage please send me a message.
