Oh, now that you have said that I see I can be missunderstood. Embarassed

This is a card I have invented.

I only want to create a topic in which people can suggest cards to give him ideas.

Keeper Mage  {1} {U}

Creature Human Wizard

At the end of your turn draw a card if you haven´t play a spell this turn.

0/2

I think this would be a good car for any keeper or monoblue deck. But perhaps it is to similar to Dark Confidant.

I have post about this in the most important Vintage forum of Spain. Hope you get a couple of extra votes (maybe 50).

You could make an announcement in other Vintage forums of the World. In europe I know there are at least 3 important forums from Germany Italy and France (Morphling, The Abyss and Solomoxen). And maybe another ones I don´t know. Let the Vintage Community of the world know.  Very Happy

You got one more from Spain. Good Luck

If you want a Nether Void Prision Deck, I think another option is leave the Rector idea and splash red instead of white. You can put Blood Moon and the creature with the same hability. Nether Void + Sinkhole + Strip Mine, Wasteland + Null Rod + Blood Moon looks like a strong mana denial. It won´t be so diferent that the deck you have proposed.  Wink

Just for reference, here's the list of a Mono-Black MaskNought deck that got 3rd of 32 recently in Madrid.
.

He got 3rd of 159

Hello to everybody from Spain and sorry for my english.

To me the  discussion of banning yawgmoth´s will, is a sintoma of another problem that the Vintage community will have to face someday. This problem is that the card poll is growing with each collection that enter (Grim Tutor, Imperial Seal, Gifts Ungiven, Trinisphere...), and the decks are becoming more and more powerfull ( Which I love  Very Happy ).

I think it may happen that one day the restricted list won´t be enough to keep the power of some decks in check. Then Vintage would be a monster that can eat itself. If that happen we would be forced to change things.

I think  banning cards is not the solution the format needs. To ban Yawgmoth´s Will will leave the things almost in the same situation that we have now ( almost every deck playing more than  6 mana artifacts, a lot of tutors, and 2 or 3 bombs that leave the game sealed by turn 3).

If you really want to shake the format why not to intruduce a limit in the restricted cards per deck you can play. Now the tier 1 decks runs about 15-20 restricted cards, which  are pretty much the same in every deck. This is what limits the tactics or the strategy in Vintage: In order to win you have to play with this cards.

If you could play with only 9 restricted cards which will they be? The tutors? The aceleration? The Bombs? Ancestral and Time Walk?

10  Eternal Formats / Miscellaneous / Re: [Discussion] What is your ideal Banned/Restricted list? on: June 03, 2006, 06:52:14 am
The saddest thing I would see in vintage is banning cards for power reasons.
I think banning Yaw. will is not necesary at all.

Control Slaver: Doesn´t need it to win
Workshop decks: Doesn´t play it.
Oath: Doesn´t play it.
Ichorid: Doesn´t play it

Combo decks: Let them live Cool

I´m very disappointed with Wizards. They couldn´t care less about Type 1, and the high investments that we have to do for playing THEIR GAME.
12  Eternal Formats / Creative / Re: [Single Card Discussion] Ghost Quarter on: April 19, 2006, 04:09:54 am
Hello members of The Mana-Drain Community. My name is David and I´m from Spain (please be understanding with the errors in my English). I love this site and I´ll love to share my opinions with all the good  vintage players that read this forums. Well after the introductions here I go:

I think the principal problem with this card is the tempo disadvantage it produces. It can be very strong against decks without basic lands, but due the fetchlands the majority runs some basic ones to stabilize the mana base. Maybe Ghost Quarter could help decks like Stax to establish a lock with cards like Crucible Of Worlds but against decks like Gifts (5-6 islands) you cannot afford to lose a land drop without gaining some tempo advantage (if you are recourring it you lose more than one), because you´ll probably be death by turn four, just before they run out of basics.

I think this card is a risky bet to be include in the meandeck. Maybe it can take some sideboards slots, but it will be a dead card against a lot of decks, so I don´t think this one is going to make a huge impact in Vintage.

Sorry for my English.

Long live NECRODECK!!!!!
