i usually write reports for a scandinavian site but i havent had the time, this time. but i played 2 people from the top 8 (rector tendrils and BW discard LD) where i drew 1 land in 3 of the games, causing me to totally crap out and when i get hit by a sinkhole, its all over.

i just finished and i went 2-3.

i would not call myself a bad player or uber magic god but i could clearly feel that 12 forests was not enough as i lost most of my games to manascrew and if would definetly play 14 forests the next time despite  what advise you have given me

I dont know if i wanna run LED in the deck as only a 1-of, although i seems okay, i might play them anyways.

I have put 3 crypt in hte sideboard, mostly because i know there will be 2 tog decks present.

i would not run dragon as people have to much sideboard hate to combat it, and i basicly dont wanna play it without power

Okay i haven't done more than 3 testing games, so i gues you know more about it than me.

(But i will still have a pretty good chance of top 8 althou i only play 3 as there are not alot of dual dependent decks)

wuaffiliate@ 5 strips are not optimal as i am only going to play against duals in  the top 8 and i would rather have consistency than 2 xtra strips

dragon will not likely be present or 1 deck at most so i do not feel that i need to dedicate sb cards for it


nietzreznor@ regrowth is just so versatile that i feel that it has to be in the deck as i is never a dead draw and can save you if key spells get countered

I have recently been denied acces to p9 and i needed a deck to play at a local tourney (ca. 40 people) where the metagame is roughly 60% aggro, 30% control and 10% random/combo and the field is 5% powered

in came Oshawa Stompy

i found IllDawg's list but it lacked the maindeck cards to beat this meta properly, as i needed to be sure that i could beat varies aggro decks without problems AND be able to beat the control decks that allways top 8

i altered the list to this:

i think that this list is near optimal for the meta, althoug i changed the null rods to Naturlize as i need a way to combat cards that moat and the abyss together with scepter (max 2-3 scepter decks will be at the event)

i also added roar of the wurm as alot of aggro decks just dies to big ass wurms. One more thing is that i added elvish lyrist and scrapper so i would have a solution to enchantments and artifacts that can be fetched at a moments notice

what to you think i have missed?
