Legacy Topcard Tournament
Sunday December 17th 2006 at 2PM
$20 to Play, please be on time,  we will have a full house.

10 Proxies are allowed plus 5 more at $1 a piece if you need.  Everyone receives a pack just for playing and many bonus prizes will be awarded.  Final prize package will be determined by attendance.  This tournament will go to a top 8. 

Registration will begin at 2PM
Tournament will start at 2:30 sharp!

John Thorne here TO for The Wizards Duel just thought I would do a little damage control.

   To DOOMHEAD we havent had those rules in like forever and a day hopefully you will give us a chance to show you a good time with our new policies this decade. DCI floor rules all the way! (please obey them see foreign language card rules.) 
 
   To JUGGERNAUTGO for noticing this and helping get the word out. Thanks man you are cool!
 
    Also all policies for Type 1 tournaments are now voted on and decided by our Type 1 players.
    they will decide if there are time limits on top 8's

   To THE ATOG LORD our apologies that things did not go as planned but we have never had so bad a turnout as what happened on the 19th.   I did not feel that (with less than 8 players) any other store would have done things differently.  Hopefully with the advice we got from the players that night on better pricing and prizes we can do better by you next time.  Sorry for not having given a minimum (players required) but that is a double edge sword because a lot of people (yourself included...you said it not me...) just will not go if there is a minimum required. 

  To Patrick Broderick congrates on winning the $10 entry mana drain we did instead. 

 We will do better next time, please look for our next mox tournament announcement!

Just wanted to give a shout out and a thanks to everyone who came. 21 players in all, everyone seemed to have a great time. Second Place Got $25 store credit to spend. The only real problem with timing seemed to be the top 8 rounds (ridiculously long matchs). The next mox we do (Mox Jet - Monday June 19) we will have time limits on those rounds. Congatulations to Pat Broderick on Winning the Mox and Thanks for  selling it back to us! (yes we will be adding one more Mox Tourney to our summer of Moxes!)
To make these tournaments more friendly to players, you voted to allow additional proxies (up to 5 extra - at $1 a card)

Good News Guys!  We've had great response from our regular customers and even heard from some players we havent seen in a long time. Looks like Monday is going to be a success.
At the request of those coming straight from work, weve decided to make it a pizza party as well.

At The Wizards Duel all our prize packages are guarenteed unless stated otherwise. If there was a minimum needed we would tell ya buddy!

We here in Brockton are having Vintage Mox Tournaments this summer
Mox Sapphire Monday May 22 for $25 entry fee at 7:00pm
and we'll be doing a mox every 3 weeks this summer.
