1  Eternal Formats / Blue-Based Control / Re: UR Delver on: November 10, 2014, 01:06:14 pm
Hi all!

I didn't play Vintage since 2 or 3 years, so my question can be a little bit dumb, but why cutting Emerald when you play delver with green? Seems good to help playing Pyromancer, Trygon, Dack or Walk early, no?

Thanks for answers guys!

Nice videos, I hope I will come to one LCV event!

I tested a bit against shop (about 11 games) and it seems really consistent and fast. I really liked the list. But I'm not a big fan of LDV. Although, without playing Drains, I found Jaces and Gift quite useless.

I will test more.

Well, that is probably the most interesting Bomberman list I have ever seen.

Played by a really good player who loves Mystical Teachings.

7  Eternal Formats / Global Vintage Tournament Reports and Results / Re: Huge thanks from BoM IV! on: May 22, 2010, 01:05:53 pm
Will results and decklists be posted for both events?

I have all the decklists and data of the event. The Top Decklists will be online for the beginning of the week for sure, and the metagame breakdown will be also online as soon as possible.

Thanks for all your work César! I'm sorry that I dont take the time to say Ola to you on BOM. I was playing against Ichorid (some of your friends thougth that the Will on 2x Tormods and 2x Needle was overkill) when you were playing against a guy killing you with confident (flipping to moxen IIRC) at the end.
8  Eternal Formats / Global Vintage Tournament Reports and Results / Re: Results BOM IV on: May 18, 2010, 06:22:47 pm
Oath is allways in france a pet deck choice, often played by bad players.

In fact, that's why I played it.  When you can't test too much, It's an easy playable deck, even in France.
I was at 4-1 (beating 1x BlackGreen deck, 1x Tyran Oath, 1x Dredge, 1x ANT, loosing against Jace control deck -1 lifepoint left sick-)  before loosing to Romain38 (I played so badly and mulliganed to 5 game 3) and Watanabe (DT)...

Damned.

As usual, congratulations for you and your deck! TezzCast is so good to play.

Have you been playing it?

Ho yes, I played the old version in a french tournament where I made 10th because my 2 looses vs Ichorid in Swiss.
If I had sideboarded correctly It may have been better than my 4-2 record with the deck.

Hi guys!

After some more testing, It seems that Frantic search would be a good addition in the deck, for more than one reason:

 - it's a restricted card (so 1 more!)
 - it's more or less free and help to find a big bomb (draw 7 or anything else)
 - discarding 2 artefacts with Welder in the battlefield (lol) is so nice

Just give it a try.

My 2 cents, breed

Hi all,

after some goldfishing, I'm sure this is the deck I want to play for my next tournament! It's so explosive and funny to play. I agree with Mantis, I would also change 2/3 cards maindeck, but by the way, great deck!

Rock solid build. I really love Spell Snare, but do you really need Imperial Seal? That's only a top deck tutor in sorcery speed, I never felt this really powerfull in other things than TPS decks.

They will be published this week, and i'll send them to deckcheck.net by the way, the deck has so few changes that is this same decklist:

http://www.deckcheck.net/deck.php?id=21776

With this changes:

Maindeck:

- 2 Polluted Delta
- 1 Misdirection
- 1 Sensei's Divning Top

+ 2 Bloodstained Mire
+ 1 Tinker
+ 1 Sundering Titan

Sideboard:

- 1 Duress

+1 Thoughtcast

4 Thoughtcast main and 1 in your sideboard. I think it's a typo error isnt it?

Muchas gracias!

20  Eternal Formats / Miscellaneous / Re: [Premium Article] So Many Insane Plays - Restrict Mana Drain? the Jan/Feb Report on: January 19, 2009, 05:18:17 am
Well, Drain is a such mythic card that I dont think it would be a good choice to restrict it. Also, I dont think Drain deck are a problem. Indeed in the US meta, Tezz decks are dominating but in Europe, not so much. Also it would kill some other decks like Bomberman.
21  Eternal Formats / Global Vintage Tournament Reports and Results / Re: Mirrodin Strikes Back: Thoughtcast Painter on: January 19, 2009, 05:06:18 am
Quite interesting decklist. Thoughcast is a powerfull cards and I thinks it has a chance to become more and more played. All blue mages are searching some replacements since the Brainstorm ban. It can be good choice (even if it is not the same thing at all for sure).

55 players!

A very diversified top 8 with an old school UW in top 4. Really good!
23  Eternal Formats / Miscellaneous / Re: [Premium Article] Type One Tezzeret Dissected on: December 23, 2008, 12:28:53 pm
well done!

A question: why play Platinum over DSC?
Also, cutting red seems to be problematic for sideboarding no?
24  Eternal Formats / Miscellaneous / Re: [Premium Article] Type One Tezzeret Dissected on: December 20, 2008, 10:21:21 am
@CHaPuZaS: Thanks for you analyzis. Your deck is really fast. I tested it against a friend playing Gobbos and Fish UWB. Some games I was able to win on turn 3 easily with backup! The only thing I will consider (for my rogue meta with lots of null rod here in France) is to add Tinker/DSC instead of a misdi and another card (dont know wich one).

25  Eternal Formats / Creative / Re: Fish UR <- Classic Renewed <- ITALIAN Project on: December 20, 2008, 10:13:58 am
Hi,

Wednesday, I tested the decklist.
The deck is quite consistent and funny to play. I played against Fish UWB and Gobbos.
In both match  up, Fire/Ice was the key. Sometimes, even with F/I, I was unable to win cause of grunts. Also, if gobbo can play the sharpshooter, this is the end of the game for U/R.

Cloud of Faeries seems not really good, I may search something else. In fact, U/R lack good beaters to finish the game, maybe we can add Green for Tarmos?

Thanks for the list, I will continue to test it.

27  Vintage Community Discussion / General Community Discussion / Re: A Perspective on the Health of Vintage: Why do You NOT Attend Tournaments? on: December 11, 2008, 08:33:40 am
Well, the main problem here in south of France, is that all T1 tournaments are at least at 3h30 drivin. So that's not always easy to attend.
We lack of TO and vintage players.

Interesting analysis and decklist. But I have one question, why choose Mutavault over Mishra factory? Just for SpellStutter sprite? Is it really necessary?
