Nick, after having missed your last 2 events i will do all that i can do attend and drag at least a carfull with me from TRA. Too much standard will rot my brains after all.

Unfortunately this is the same day as a PTQ in philly, so that may case some headaches for people.

Nick make it a case of beer instead of water and you will have 3/4 of the field gunning for 9th place.

The star city 5k is the weekend of the 10th/11th, so unless you are referring to a different one there is no date conflict.

While that is valid, that isnt the underlying point. The issue we here is by counting points from the day towards the player of the year/team awards, it basically force anyone who cares about those to show up or risk being knocked out of contention. The reason we are taking issue is it is setting the precident of forcing your regular players to attend or risk losing out on something you are otherwise working towards. Believe me if it were not for the fact that poty/team points were being earned at this event i would not have attended, i did have other things i could have done that day but felt like if i was being forced into a cornor and basically making attendance mandatory at a none blue bell event. Just my 2 cents.

But seriously, i keep trying to tell you that with the shift in the meta towards more ichorid grunt is becoming more and more of a solid play, he works for both that matchup and helps keep tarmogoyfs small.

Its overcompensation since no one is left to do the crotch grabbing.

Just run a deck with Key+ Vault in it, you ll be fine.

I had been working on a mono-blue workshop list which ran academy ruins for recursion and curiours capsule for some extra draw. Though the capsule is dead with rod in play, they are 2 more options i would consider.

Mike, assuming there are major changes to the banned and restricted list, would you opt to use the new or the old list for this event?
