My name is Derrick Correia. I've been playing MTG since late 93 or early 94. I took a break from Alliances to Time Spiral and I've been having a blast since I came back. I hope to start playing in more T1 tournaments but my time is limited.
I think keeping this to one day is probably the best idea.
What's the matter? Afraid you'll lose to people who come from farther away? As a one-day event, this is not significantly different than any other New England or New York tournament.
This should be done as a series of tournaments, or at least 1 in New England and 1 in New York. I know for me at least, I'd have problems doing a 2 day event as money would be an issue.
I agree that there should be an event in New York and an Event in New England.
I'm surprised no one has brought this up yet but...
In the brandon's semis when he wins game one and his opponent tells the judge he didn't unsideboard after the quaters shouldn't the judge had given him another game loss instead of a warning sending brandon to the finals considering it was a 48k event?
I just want to thank Eric for holding the tournament and everyone for making the trip to Stillpoint. This was my first type one tournament since well before alliances so thanks for everyone for helping me out and giving me advise, I really appreciate it.
