Vintage Community Discussion / General Community Discussion / My Kickstarter is live. Anyone use dice here? (GIF and IMAGE HEAVY)

Hi all, I've been busy with my new company, Wyrmwood. We launched our Kickstarter last week, and the response has been good. Anyone interested in artisan quality gaming supplies will enjoy taking a look. We also do Deck Boxes on our website www.WyrmwoodGaming.com and have a custom shop where we can do one of a kind commissions. On to the Kickstarter: The Dice Tower System ensures fair, random results every time. The Tray keeps the dice on the table, and out of the playing area. The Dice Vault is the best way to carry your dice. Our Dice Tower is held together magnetically, so it disassembles for quick and easy portability. It's available in up to 70 woods. We have videos up going in depth into the creation of the Dungeon Master Collection too. I hope some of you find this interesting, and want to help spread the word.

Eternal Formats / Global Vintage Tournament Reports and Results / Re: Sanctioned Vintage Magic Episode 1

Is this related to the scholars vintage videos that are on youtube? I'm a fan of those and this seems great too!
Oh right, are you not using The Endstep account any more for these? If that's true I'll swing my subscription across to this account. We're picking up where The End Step left off. They're on hiatus for the foreseeable future, so I've got to learn some new tricks, besides just the commentating.

Eternal Formats / Northeast U.S. / Weekly Wednesday Night Vintage at Scholars'
|
on: February 02, 2014, 11:19:57 pm
|
We're making a change at Scholars' for 2014. Starting Feb 5, 2014 our Infinite Proxy Monday Night Vintage will become Wednesday Night Vintage. We're also moving it to start at 6pm, which may open it up for players with work the next day. With the consistent success of Wednesday Night Legacy, we're hoping the overlapping crowds will improve the experience for everyone. Monday and Saturday Sanctioned Vintage Events will not be effected by this change. We feel it's important to have an infinite proxy environment to test Vintage decks with prizes on the line. Events that are low stake, but you still play your best every game. As I player, I know how valuable it is to try out new ideas and cards in a tournament setting before investing. Scholars' has been the place to do this for over a decade. With some of New England's best, these are the best preparation for our Sanctioned Events too. With a Legacy event later in the night, there will be more interest in both formats, and more people to get casual games with too. I'm very excited about this change. What do the prizes look like? How does 133% of entry fee payouts of Store Credit, with an option to take cash as well? I'm there with a sick selection of the goodness you need to keep up your rep as a formidable spell slinger. For those of you who don't know Scholars: Scholars has been supporting Vintage in New England for as long as I can remember. They are the site of my first Vintage tournament (I was playing with Miracle Grow in 2001) Located at: Scholar's Bookstore 34 Central Sq Bridgewater, MA Phone: (508) 279-1712 Google Maps DirectionsAmple parking in rear. $6 entry fee infinite proxy Vintage Starting promptly at 6. I am always buying or trading for any and all cards – turn your unwanted cards into cash!

Eternal Formats / Northeast U.S. / Sanctioned Vintage at Scholars Monday, Feb 10th

Sanctioned Vintage returns to Scholars' on Monday February 10th. Get your game on for the first Sanctioned Vintage event of the year. As with all our sanctioned event, the highest finishing Unpowered Deck* will receive a prize, so the value is insane. Unpowered players are in the running for the highest unpowered prize, as well as the regular prize pool. This event is the Unpowered player's best value ever. With a larger field than our Monday Tournaments, a Top 8 will mean more prizes to more players. If you want to take part in a hugely fun and unique Vintage event, but don't have power, brew something new, or go ahead and take your Legacy deck, makes some tweeks and have a blast. Merfolk, Goblins and RUG have put up amazing results, and Elves picks up goodies like Skullclamp. However you do it, it's an awesome time. What do the prizes look like? How does massive payouts of Store Credit, with an option to take cash as well? I'll be there with a sick selection of the goodness you need to keep up your rep as a formidable spell slinger. For those of you who don't know Scholars: Scholars has been supporting Vintage in New England for as long as I can remember.
