1  Eternal Formats / Creative / Re: Manaless Tendrils - Needs some work on: April 04, 2008, 10:16:27 am
Sorry if I'm missing something, but how do you get the priest in play? You only have 2 narcomoebas and no ichorids, and you need 3 creatures for the first dread return, and 2 for the second. Not criticizing, just wondering.
2  Eternal Formats / Creative / Re: [Shadowmoor] Grim Poppet vs Trike on: April 04, 2008, 10:11:37 am
On the other hand, this (Poppet) handles aggro (I'm thinking Tarmogoyf) better than Trike, shrinking and then blocking.
MHO.
3  Eternal Formats / Creative / [Shadowmoor Offical Preview] Beseech the Queen on: April 04, 2008, 10:05:45 am
Hi, they posted this on the official site:

Beseech the Queen   {2/b}{2/b}{2/b}
Sorcery
({2/b} can be paid with any two mana or with B. This card's converted mana cost is 6.)
Search your library for a card with converted mana cost less than or equal to the number of lands you control, reveal it, and put it into your hand. Then shuffle your library.
Those who hear her go mad with inspiration.
Illus. Jason Chan #57/301

I'm thinking it's a good new tutor, it costs as much as a grim tutor (BBB), it's playable as it get's most of the things you want to get, (black lotus at 0, ancestral at 1) and if you get three lands (granted, not a common ocurrence in grim long but it happens more than we think) you can get pretty much anything you want, including the Yagwmoth's Will.

So what do you think, stock up on these or not worth it?

As some people have previously stated, Ancestral and Walk are by far the best choice for your deck, they give you more cards (obv) and also a way to finish a game when you find a Dryad or Tog when chaining gushes or from a yawg will.

Slogan: "Get the Raibar habit"

Movie Quote: "If I was a raibar, perfect raibar, how would you know if it was really me?" -The Thing (1982)

another one: "As far back as I can remember, I always wanted to be a raibar" -Goodfellas (1990)

Sorry man, we were rooting for you Sad
But not all is lost, if Wizards takes into account that there's a good amount of people into eternal formats (enough to get their representative to a 2nd place) maybe they'll put an eternal ballot of some sort next year.
Message sent!!   Wink
