The point of the deck is simple, get out a belcher, remove all your land, and belch for lethal damage.  As a combo, it's rather fragile, as there are several cards that can remove your belcher.  Hence, the very control-like compliment of cards.

The rest of the deck is there to help you get at your combo quicker, or stop your opponent from stopping it.  The sideboard I've detailed above is for our local weekend type 1, where the metagame is a mish-mash of serious players playing keeper, tog, staxx, and big O, and rogue creations by the friday night Timmys.

Critique, criticism, suggestions are welcome.  I've only been playing the deck a couple weeks, and don't have a large group to test with in my area.  Thanks in advance.

Hi there all, I'm Snappa, better known as Nick, a 29 year old programmer from Clearwater FL.  Started playing magic right around the Antiquities release.  Played some tournaments in the good ol' days of type 1 with an old Zoo build.  Stopped playing around Mirage, and didn't start again until a friend dragged me to a limited tournament early in Onslaught.

Since then, Ive dusted off what's left of the old collection, spent entirely too much money replacing stuff I sold for entirely too cheap years ago, and have been lurking here and Starcity and catching up on 6 to 7 years of theory.  I've played in a couple of standard Friday night magic tournaments, but I didn't like the idea of type 2 when it was first introduced, and like it even less now when everyone and their brother is playing the same X/W control.

If there are any type 1 players here from the Tampa area, I'd love to hear where the old fogies go to play.  The local card shops are full of rugrats playing Yugioh and I'm looking for a slightly more mature scene to play in.
