They werent different sleeves.  They had crinkles in them as is normal for sleeves that have seen a fair amount of play.  Bob is no cheater, and you shouldnt slander him so.

Does anyone have a full Top8 for this event?  I know that the top 8 people all split the cash at about 7:30 AM, but what actually T8'd?  Here is what I know:

ME playing UBr Gifts TPS
Derrick Coyne playing Salvager Oath
Eric Becker playing Uba Stacks
Brian Fisher playing...
4 other people.

I would reduce your snap count, cut the Zorb, and add 2 (3 if your 'metagame' calls for it) Rebuild/Hurkyls Recall,Echoing Truth type spells.  These boost your storm count, and help you win around Chalice for 1.  Also, Im not a fan of artifact lands, and they just die to things like Wasteland and Null Rod.

*Sigh*

It is with a heavy heart that I bring you this news.  Jodi has decided he wont be able to put up a lotus.  So we will be going with the UL Mox Jet after all.  And I will be running this thing solo, so you can count on the quality to be consistent with what I have brought you for the last 3 years.  Also, Ill only charge $13 instead of $15 to play in this Jet tourney.  My way of Apologizing.

With Teeth

There has been some confusion about this, as foundation-games.com says Mox Ruby.  There WILL be a Jet given away (in better condition than the ruby was) no matter what.  Enjoy!

Yeah in Kzoo we have a weird meta.  At this point right now my team is testing and playing the following decks

D4Rg0n
M0n0-B D4Rg0n
TPS
Death Long
4 color tog
3 color tog
SuiGat
GAt
Ankh Sligh
Mono Blue
Turboland
7/10
5/3
Control Slaver
DonkeyStaxxx
TnT
TnCrucible
1/2/3/4 land belcher
other unnamed control decks

and thats only the 5 of us
So its hard to say what you will see, and what our minions will play, which is based on our leftovers.  But know that you will see a diverse meta, with a fair amounts of workshops.

Yeah I had a great time at this event too.  The games I played with EITD were some of the best games Ive played in a long time.  Challenging, fun, and exicting (as exciting as null rod and chalice for 1 can be).  Those games were ALLMOST as awesome as having to go get my laptop/printer from the car 10 minutes after start time, set up, register everyone, and teach the judge how to use DCI reporter (I had judged all the other MTG events that weekend so I was prepared for this).  Maybe all my hard work (and T8 at a major tourney!) will earn me access into the hallowed halls of the Mana Drainers.

It was great to see some familiar faces, and so many bazzars.  Bazzars > Workslops.  Fo sheezy.

Props:
EITD for being UBER in every way imaginable.
Angel for winning (somehow)
Bob for losing to Bauer even tho you have mo betta' foil goblins.
KirdApe for beating me exactly how I taught you.
Everyone who let me win (I couldnt have done it without you).
DSK for PWNING fish in round 5.
Mark B for hooking up the Asian Time Spiral.
My 3 packs of 5D for having 2 Bringers (Red and Green!  so good!!)

Slops
Bauer for playing SLIGH and taking home a LoA.
Workshop for sucking so bad.
Mark B for not trading me the Foil Chinese Minds Desire.
EITD for not rolling to me Wink
Red for being UBERANNOYING.COM
WOTC for restricting Minds Desire

I agree, it was such a pleasure watching those games, some of the best games I have seen in a while.  Way to Mana Burn down to 1 in the last game BTW.  Every good game needs some tension.  Ill have to make it down to Pandemonium next Monday to shake your hand.
