The rules are:
1. No decklist requests, please. If you want a list, search through the older posts.
2. Reading and writing aren't mere ways of communicating - they're a pleasure, and should be treated as such. We come here for a game, and if a post is not pleasing to read, it should not exist.
Thus, we ask our posters to make an effort to write well, and even more important, think before writing.
Before making a post, you should: Ask yourself what your thesis is, how you will defend it, and how you will write those ideas in an understandable way. We will happily delete "one-liners", posts too full of typos, and posts including statements such as "<3 smurphling", "I agree", or "Moat >>> Abyss."
If you simply agree or disagree, state why.
3. Anything remotely off-topic, or getting off topic will be moved or deleted. Any thread that becomes too chaotic will be closed.
4. Angry posts (because a topic was deemed inappropriate from the forum) are off-topic and will probably be deleted. However, intelligent and well-defended post or any subjects are on-topic. As for those questioning this forum's policies, please keep those to THIS thread.
5. You should have a working knowledge of the decktypes discussed before being qualified to post.
6. Posting a decklist doesn't count as a productive post. Explain card choices, discuss deck theory, and better yet present arguements and counter-arguements.
7. No upping posts. Ever.
Call us elitists if you want. We want only the writers' best posting. We want to be pleased when we read the forum. We want everything well thought-out, and the writers to express themselves well.
Things to consider before posting:
1. Assume a 'worldwide' environment. For example, a Dwarven Miner or Gorilla Shaman, which may be crap in some scrub environment (no duals, moxen, etc), is generally a good card in a real Type One Environment.
2. Please re-read a post before hitting the submit button. Reading it again once its posted and using the edit features is great too.
3. Make your posts readable. Keep 'Netspeak' to a minimum and maximize the effectiveness of paragraph breaks and your best grammar.
4. Lastly, if you have a question that may be off topic or otherwise could be done through PM's, please use that feature.
