It's cute to see Freddie all worked up about the tourney. I predict it will be a great one, all hype aside. Kansas City has a huge hardcore type 1 community, and everyone who is someone will be there...

I'm Excited because it will be a pretty random metagame, moreso then the average tourney locally.
Also Kevin Hunt will be there, and it will be a pleasure to play against/ along side of him.
We did some playtesting last week, and he took alot of my suggestions on newer cards in his deck.
That was a great feeling since he has long been a Magic mentor to me.
In the end I just want to have a good time, and play my ass off!

I am right now waiting to get a call from Shock Wave (richard) to come and pick him up at the airport.
This is gonna rock.
As long as there is as big of a tournout at the tourney as I predict, 50+ players would be awesome!

Unfortunately the tourney way only like 40 people...
I did so horrible at this tournament, but my main man prodigy (Pat Giles) won....
SWEET!
Richard (TMDs ShockWave) did really well also, placing in top 4.
I am going to write a report, and explaing to you all how badly I suck (2-3) but the whole weekend has been awesome!
It was way cool that Richard flew all of the way in from Canada to take place in this tourney, way cool guy too.

Grats to Pat for winning, he is an awesome player.
Wish I could of been there for this, hopefully in May there will be something fun to attend when I'm back up in the KC area.
Nice turn out there as usually though, I see.

2nd is Scott Lipp (Spankey), recieving a LOA, as they changed 2nd from a Mirror Universe to the LOA the day of the tourney.
Richard and another guy named Scott (playing Grow) were in the 3rd and 4th spots, but since their prized were the exact same (1/2 box of legions) they did not play off to see whom was 3rd or fourth.
It would be nice to have you come around again Illusion X, There will be a 5 mox tourney June 8th w/ a 2nd place prize of a timewalk!
Try and make it for that one!

Well, the way it looks, I should be moving back up to KC sometime around May, so I will be around to play again.

Although I had fun, I don't think I've ever played like such a retard then at this tournament. I went 1-2-drop.

Yup, I chogged out so badly, and really most ofthe top ranked players, that I expecteed to top 8 chogged as well... the
stars were out of alignment I guess.
But I am really proud of Pat for winning My little guy is all grown up (Wipes the tears from my face)
