For the high tide deck, I would recommend trying out a splash of red for Burning Wish and put Time Spiral in the sideboard. That way you *almost* have four Spirals. Additionally, the wish can get it back once you've already cast it (and it removes itself from the game). I also think that 3 Palinchron is way too many. I think most high tide decks only run one. I also like Candelabra of Tawnos/capsize as another method of going infinite with tide. Capsize can also be used to deal with your opponents permanents that get in the way. I had a thread about the burning tide deck in the T1 forum, which might be helpful for reference.

I'm not sure exaclty what you are trying to do by adding in green. I think that it might be better to replace the green cards with more search (Merchant Scroll, Impulse, etc.). You have virtually none as it is. At least add a Frantic Search. You also probably want at least a couple Turnabouts.

I hope that helps some.

I like some of the ideas you are presenting.  I don't think I can do the Candelabra of Tawnos/capsize combo, as the Candelabra's are to expencive for me (at the moment, I can get them within a month if need be).  I do like the idea of more search, but green provides the draw engine, and it benifits this deck same as it would Turboland, if for a different purpose.  More search is good, I know that.  Red splash is a good idea, since I can use Searing Touch in the SB for monoU match-ups (*fears Misdirection*).  I don't know what to take out to make more search/red splash.  Any advice on the second deck would also be nice.

And BTW, how do you get a membership on this site?

Actually, just forget about the High Tide deck.  I decided not to continue with the development of it.  From now on, just comment on the Baghdad Zoo deck.  Thx.

The Fastbond and Exploration in the second deck are useless. Replace that junk with the fourth Lightning Bolt and three Wild Mongrels. Then add the fourth Mongrel over something else - probably a Llanowar Elf. Then start questioning why you are running those elves over either Land Grants or Strip Mine/Wasteland.

Also, the Bazaars shouldn't be counted under mana sources, as they do not tap for mana.

Lastly, finding some room for 3-4 Anger would be really good. Also, it's worth noting that the Nimbles can't be Rancored.

I would try something along these lines:

//Mana: (20)
4 Taiga
2 Mountain
5 Forest
1 Strip Mine
3 Wasteland
2 Bloodstained Mire
4 Wooded Foothills

//Creatures: (24)
3 Anger
4 Werebear
4 Wild Mongrel
3 Arrogant Wurm
4 Basking Rootwalla
4 Squee, Goblin Nabob
2 Masticore

//Spells: (15)
4 Bazaar of Baghdad
1 Black Vise
1 Wheel of Fortune
1 Crop Rotation
4 Lightning Bolt
4 Rancor

With Anger in the deck it's more important to be able to fetch a stable Mountain than a stable Forest, which is why I included Bloodstained Mire over Windswept Heath. If you can't acquire/afford the Mires, use Land Grants in their slots.

This deck should also be running pretty light on lands now, which is why I dropped the Arrogant Wurms down to three.
